If he doesn't want to come in and give it his best shot and let the best man win.... with an opportunity to play for a coach who has done wonder with QB's,then we are better off. A good, confident player doesn't run from competition. He should relish the chance to prove his detractors wrong.
Wait a second, because he wants to play somewhere else, he's immature? So, he was supposed to run back to the team that leaked all kinds of crap about him? The organization that told him to go out there and play even though he was injured? The org who kicked him out on his ass? Way too much company speak here.
Horse manure. Way too much player fan speak is the real problem. Yes, if he is leaving because his feeling are hurt, in this business, he is an immature idiot. He is giving away a chance to work with a coach that just flat out improves QB play. Only a freaking moron throws that away without trying to see if it can be worked out.

It's the organization. I think he'd probably like to work with Chip, just not the organization. Doesn't trust them. And OK, if you feel he has a poor attitude then I don't even know if there's a word in the English language to explain the organization's attitude.
So, the organization can do whatever they want and that's OK but people want to get all up in arms when the player wants to move on? Didn't you people want him gone anyways?

Woooooohoooooooo!!! Yessssssssssssssssssss!!! I just found out about this, thank the lord!!!!!!!!!!
This is the BEST news I have heard in months. Finally, I mean finally we can move on.
But, what an amazing development of events. Didn't Baalke and Kelly just say they would take Kap back?! Man, this has to be embarrassing as fxxk for the 9ers. LOL.
I wonder what Baalke has to say to the press now?! The dude will get killed tomorrow!! LOL. Let's face it, the entire 49ers organization is a train wreck.
What I don't understand is how could Baalke say Kap will "absolutely" be on the 9ers' roster without speaking to Kap and his agents?! This is just pure stupidity and lame.

But let me give you an example - the first play of the game he threw an interception. That play is a microcosm of what's wrong. The play was called to get him an easy completion in the flat to Miller. That's why the play was called. I'm not going to describe the entire play to you. Take my word for it, I've seen a lot of football as you guys know. And Kaepernick seemed to have no sense of the play. He waited in the pocket for something that was really not part of the play. It was designed to throw it to Miller in the flat, gain six yards, boom - you're 2nd and 4. He doesn't do that; then he starts running around, and he tries to make a random play and it results in an interception.
Now that has nothing to do with anything other than Kaepernick. It was the first play of the game; they were trying to help him. The play was there. You throw it to Miller and you get six yards, maybe eight yards. I can't tell you why he didn't throw it. Only he can tell you why he didn't throw it.
And then of course on the 1st play of the 2nd possession, they probably do what a lot of people want them to do more of which is get Kaepernick to use his legs, and it's a designed quarterback sweep that loses 7 yards. So these things can be debated forever, but the reality is there's a number of issues and Kaepernick is one of those issues. He's not playing well, and he knows it. Harbaugh knows it. They all know it. They know more than I do. They're living with this every day, but it's very evident when you watch the tape.-Greg Cosell
"For those who believe that the 49ers were not using him properly, I would disagree with that totally," Cosell said. "Look at the first seven or eight plays of the game this past week. What they did was, they did boot-action, play-action boot, which defines a read and gives you an easy throw. They did read-option. But then it got to be 3rd and 3 and they wanted to throw the ball with a drop-back pass game, which is standard operating procedure in the NFL. You have to do that somewhere in the NFL.
"And this a perfect example of being locked up -- he had Vernon Davis running the crosser versus McDonald, wide open, right in his field of vision. He did not see that, or it did not register and instead he threw it to Patton who was really well-covered on the shallow cross. It was another example of a big-play opportunity missed because he just didn't see it."-Greg Cosell
A very concerning issue for San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick after 41 starts is his lack of clarity in the pocket.
He still struggles to relate route concepts to coverage and quickly isolate where to go with the ball. And there are far too many snaps in which Kaeperick hits his back foot and immediately breaks down with no pressure.

If I asked for one or two examples, then you would have won the prize. But that's not what I asked for.
"What about MOST nfl personalities and scouts that have been on record saying Kap isn't very good and can't usually go past 1 read and can't read a defense?"
I asked him to back up this claim and I am still waiting.

If we cant find a trade partner Baalke needs to sit Kaep all year or deactivate him. Pay that man his loot for 2016 and cut him in the offseason so he basically loses a year. If he doesnt want to be here so be it, but Baalke has the upper hand. Worse case eat that salary and stick it to Kaep for putting the FO in that type of situation.
Im was still on the fence with Kaep but now Im done. His gimmick worked for about 2 seasons but I guess he doesnt want to continue to put in the work to earn the starting job in SF and just keep kissing his bicep instead.

Perfectly fine with moving on as I thought we would have after he was replaced by Gabbert. Trade him for what we can get, save the 8.5 or whatever it is. Go with Goff or Wentz at 7 and a qb in the late rounds for a backup. Let Wentz/Goff compete with Gabbert and the best man plays. Gabbert will likely win and our rookie can spend a year learning the system. Use the rest of the drat and our money in free agency to bolster the OL/DL and throw in a receiver and a pass rushing OLB and we will be heading in the right direction. Go heavy on the D side as we know the offense should improve with Chip. I dont see a chance at a SB any time soon maybe we can go back to being in the playoff hunt annually.

Where can I see the records of what most of the NFL scouts have said about Kaepernick? I would love to read the comments.

When is the last time that Chip Kelly was coaching this team. A world of a difference between Kelly and Nolan but don't let that get in the way of you acting like a little kid that is about to go stomp off and take all his toys home.
"If Kaepernick can't be the QB, then screw all you guys."
