This schedule is pretty brutal! Could see us starting 1-3, and at best 2-2. We won't beat the Packers this time. It's just not going to continue.
What I like is that we will be the LEAST picked team to win the NFC West, so if we can get off to a good start early, we may be able to surprise and make a run.
Early prediction is 6-8 wins, with upside to get 9-11. Any more than 10 wins in my mind is a successful 1st year for Tomsula.

Schedule is not bad. In regards to 10 am games I'm sure they will stay in Ohio in between the Bears and Browns games.

How come we get only 2 home games in a row and have to travel 2 times for 2 road games in a row....
Yet Seattle has 2 home games in a row twice and even a stretch of 3 home games in a row, yet they only have back to back road games 3 sets of 2 away games. I would take that any day. Maybe that's just me.

Damn, I didn't realized they're making us play 17 games, now THAT is a brutal schedule.

Well 5 out of 8 road games at 10am PST kinda sucks but the setup of this schedule could've been worse. Team will probably stay in Youngstown between the Chicago and Cleveland games or maybe not since those are when the weather starts to suck. Not too bad of a schedule all the way around.

FWIW, Vegas has the 49ers win total at 8.5. MANY bets have come in already. [UNDER]

W- Vikings. bridgewater is a good qb and the viking are on the up. But we pull it out. Doom and gloomers will complain about barely beating the viks.
L- @Steelers. Think they'll be toughb this year and with nee staff there will be crinkles to work out.
L- @Cardinals very though team, see post above. Doom and gloomers having field day with 2 straight losses.
W- Packers - still think we have their number and he week 4 we should be playing much better ball.
W- @Giants - f**k eli. That is all
L- Ravens. Tough game good team.
W- Seahawks. Surprise! Win doom and gloomers on hiatus.
W- @Rams. Who's their qb? Not afraid of foles.
W- Falcons. Finese team.
L- @Seahawks. Some things never change
W- Cardinals. Playoffs?! Don't talk about playoffs!
W- @Bears - can't be as bad as last year.
W- @Browns. Their the browns.
W- Bengals very fun game ultimately i believe we will have hit our stride.
L-@Lions. Back down to earth via megatron heroics.
W-Rams. Now you can talk playoffs. Doom and gloomers claim they alwaya had faith.
11-5?
