Lynch also was in talks with Wash before Vikings and ended up getting him for cheap

Everybody wants to play for Andy Reid, it's that him and Kyle already had a relationship. You just going to ignore him saying how once him going to KC was about to be official he called Kyle NOT Lynch. You are trying way too hard to give Lynch credit when in fact he nearly fumble TW

Nah, just stating facts.

On the "Call", there would be no call if Lynch didn't get involved or that would be tampering. Plus what call is this, was this call when we were in negotiations after Trent was on the team already?

The way we got Trent was nearly the same way we got Jimmy

Of course Lynch had to be involved he's the GM and he almost fumbled him Trent had to call Kyle. In the video TW literally says in response to almost being traded to KC "I told Kyle if I was going anywhere I'd call him first"

lol Jimmy that was another fumble by Lynch we all knew Kirk was the plan but he had to get fancy and trade for that garbage. Kirk hits Sanders in 2019 but I digress this isn't the Lynch thread
Our team downplays top picks on the IOL, but if we did trade for Nelson and resign him for a few years, it does help with the development of a LT after Trent retires.

Kyle and Lynch are on record saying they both found the opportunity to trade for Jimmy as too fortunate to pass up.

The bitter side of our fan base trying to blame one or the other... they were both responsible, and it worked out fairly well overall, but not good enough. But that's the thing with projections for players - you never know how they'll develop, what injuries they'll have, what parts of their game will stall and/or atrophy. You do the best with the information and opportunities you have in the moment. And in mid-season 2017 it was absolutely the right choice to trade for Jimmy, and based on his play after the trade that season it was a very reasonable move to re-sign him as a free agent that offseason.

When was this call in regards to KC, because KC didn't get involved until after we already acquired TW

If Foerster can develop Mckivitz, I think he can develop Enrique. Why waste draft picks on a left tackle if you can develop one in house already. I'm not saying Enrique is the second comming of Jesus, but I think with Foerster's record of late round OLine development, I think Enrique is another possible diamond in the rough.

*If* (big if) Enrique develops, now you can spend that day one pick on another Height or Halton. Or better yet, pick Trey Down and get more day two picks to restock the roster after a deep 2026 playoff run (or a possible 🏆)❗?👀
Trent is suddenly talking about the 10 year wall, pairing him with Nelson might convince him…

i don't think so, our runs up the middle are just too predictable now

He's near the bottom in pressures given up in pass protection. He's struggling.

Run game is fine. His pass pro is a nightmare.
