It has to fall on Baalke if this fails. I like his scouting and most of his draft picks but this shake up has his finger prints on it so if it goes wrong he has to go with it.

Trent goes and Tomsula gets ousted by next GM if season is a flop. The defense is loaded we need to sure up secondary a little but they should keep us in most games. I'm not sure how worse the offense could get over last year 5 turnovers agains that Giants and still barely won. We still have the roster to get it done but the coaching staff pulls a Singletary we could be in trouble.

i am pretty tired of hearing people refer to mangini as TE coach. It was super weird when he got hired as a TE coach because hes a defensive guy. Ran a really good defense for the patriots

Ehhh...

He drafted/traded for Boldin, Iupati, Anthony Davis, Kilgore, Stevie Johnson, Kaepernick, Miller, Hyde, McDonald. Baalke has done a s**t ton for the offense. Basically everyone but Gore/Crabtree/Staley.

The Boldin trade was made as a favor between the Haurbaugh brothers without Jim Boldin never comes here. Iupati and Davis were drafted before he became G.M. I would argue Baalke has done more for this defense and nothing on offense.
