Pretty sure this comment by Logan was rooted in the belief that it doesn't matter how well you throw if you are already on your back. From that point of view, I agree.
Yeah...people who think badly of Logan based on that quote are really missing the point.
In the interview he gave AFTER he was hired he said his 1st and 2nd most important attributes of a QB were Accuracy and Decision making. He is tho a HUGE fan of mobile QBs.
Yeah, I think the whole hooplah regarding the quote (or slightly miss-quote) was a product of today's gotcha journalism. If you take what he has said and compile it together, it really sounds like his ideal QB is similar to what Young was. Mobile, accurate, intelligent, etc. But of course, it is easier to take one thing and expound on it ridiculously as if it is the only quality Logan likes about a QB. Gotcha!
