Our head coaches lack of well honed BS skills will easily cost this team 4-5 wins. Book it.

I'll give him a chance first.
We are all giving him a chance.
But for discussions sake, do you feel comfortable with him going against Carrol, Fisher, and Arians twice a year?
I don't. But you better believe im going to be rooting my ass of for us to win.

Carrol is a glorified cheerleader, and lets not get into Fisher. If Tomsula and the FO can get a good coaching staff together we will be fine.

The 49ers hired new head coach Jim Tomsula this week, a move that was met with a great deal of "Who the heck is Jim Tomsula?" And while fellow new coaching hire Rex Ryan unleashed an introductory press conference in Buffalo that was equal parts pep rally, revival meeting and confessional, Tomsula's introduction was a bit more ... muted.
Speaking with CSN Bay Area in a Yahoo Sports Talk Live interview taped Wednesday and released Friday, Tomsula takes "keeping it close to the vest" to new extremes. Pressed on everything from whom he might consider as his coordinators to his relationship with departed coach Jim Harbaugh, Tomsula says so little that, in some cases, he doesn't even form actual words, simply breathing heavily into the microphone.
Granted, this is a fidgety place to put a guy who clearly is more comfortable on a sideline than behind a mic. But 49ers fans have to hope that Tomsula is a little more inspirational in the locker room than he is on video.
Then again, "I wouldn't say that, I wouldn't NOT say that" will be Marshawn Lynch's next media-dismissal line, you watch.

Jed and Trent might as well have had one hand behind Tomsula's back each. Pulling strings. What a disaster of a presser. That had as much inspiration as a surgery consultation. .

Good idea! Right now, I don't know ANY coach in the NFL who can out-coach him. I've already seen him out-coach Wisenhunt or whomever the coach of the Cardinals was when the Niners beat them with the Bludgeon as interim head coach.
1-0 is better than any coach in the league! LOL! Can't believe how many people are willing to assume the team has gone down the tubes without giving them a shot. Why bother? It's the same thing as every year...waiting for the game to count. If he leaves the playcalling to a competent OC I can't see the offense regressing.
Some Niner fans around here are joining with typical Seahawk, Rams, Cardinals, Raiders and Lions fans who seem to think it's important that Tomsula was uncomfortable in front of a bunch of slavering media hacks looking for any "gotcha" moment.
Unbelievable. What's the matter with Niner fans? I really don't get a Niner fan slamming a new Head Coach over his public speaking skills. WTF?

Lol.
After witnessing the garbage of the last couple weeks and finally listening to the morning show on KNBR today, all the callers and even the hosts, I am now fully convinced that the 49ers have the whiniest, most delusioned, self entitled fanbases in any sport.
Of all that's happened the last year or so, all the perceived dysfunction, the fact that Niner fans are fiercely living up to their reputation is really disappointing. It seems the tag 'Forty Whiners' is more than just a rhyme. It's truth.
The reaction of the masses to a gawddamn press conference is nauseating.

The HC is the manager and mouth piece of the organization. He has to be able to articulate a plan and get people on his side. He doesn't have to be perfect but his nonsense answer about his scheme was so beyond absurd....It's the worst combination of Nolan and Simpletary. Look do you remember when you laughed at the Vikings for hiring Mike Tice? Well we just hired him twice.
If he was so great he would have been interviewed by other teams for ANYTHING position coach coordinator HC...ANYTHING...no one has any interest in him and that press conference is a telling sign.
Remember when Trent Dilfer as the starting QB was claiming coaching wasn't the issue under Nolan and the buffoon of the year (except Norv) running the offense for him? That he was getting some of the best coaching of his career? Remember all of us spraining our eyes rolling them because it was so obvious we had 2nd tier poor coaching? I will root and cheer but make no mistake this is a guy not ready. This is about Baalke trying to prove he is more important that any coach.

I watched the video and it doesn't match up with the article. The only thing he really refused to answer was "Who are you looking for" (for OC/DC). What coach do you know actually answers that? It'd be stupid to answer that.
Everything else he answered, albeit not eloquently.

I'd put the empty seats at Laker games ahead of the niners for feeling entitled, but obviuosly empty seats aren't as whiney as our fans!

He should've just started screaming "bludgeon!" That would've done it.
