Are we officially headed back to the dark ages?!

So, if you state an opinion like it's a fact, it becomes a fact? Let's try some actual facts shall we? Off the top of my head here are some resemblances: 1) fire a coach that averaged 10+ wins (49 wins in 4 years for Habaugh, 23 wins in last 2 seasons for Marriuchi, 2) take 3 people (1 York, 1 GM and Parag) to conduct very long "secretive" interview process and 3) concludes with a hiring that does not make the fan base excited, 4) gut the current well respected coaching staff. So, far 1-4 are lockstep with the "TDon" years my friend.

Drafts aren't mediocre? Baalke has 4 first rounders ('11-'14, the '10 board was mostly set by prior GM before departure), 1 is one Ray MacDonald from being cut for off-field issues (Smith), 1 is off the team (Jenkins), 1 has serious concussion issues that could cut his career short (Reid) and 1, the jury is still out on, but it ain't looking good, unless giving up 3 TDs to the same reciever against a terrible offense is a positive sign? Don't bother making excuses for each of the above. It's a results oriented business. Baalke has not produced outstanding drafts. He's had better luck in latter rounds, no doubt. He's not the worst, but he's far from the best. He is mediocre.

The stadium is not loud. It is white washed soulessness and very expensive. The food is a good analogy. Curries and Jackfruit sandwiches. Both are not prepared that well. And both are out of place in a football stadium. Lost. The stadim inspires....a yawn...and an eyebrow raise. For $1.3 billion, I do think the word mediocre works quite well.

This hurts. I can't believe this ownership has done this. Get rid of best head coach in last 20 years. Lose the best defensive coordinator we've had in 20+ seasons. Promote a cheap d-line yes man to head coach. Surreal. I cant' believe I am living this AGAIN for the second time in a decade. I can't stand Baalke and his mediocre drafts. Can't stand York and his mediocre stadium. I can't believe what they have done to our team. Shameful.

The hysteria won't die down until we start winning.
The fact that the team is letting all the assistants walk except for Rathman speaks volumes. On the one hand they want a smooth transition with someone that knows the team, yet they fire the assistants and bring in an entire new staff. The Yorks give the impression they have no idea what they're doing.

The Super Bowl. Remember 3 conference championships in 4 years wasn't good enough for the last guy. It's Super Bowl or bust for Tomsula.

The whole coaching staff goes except Rathman. That staff was widely considered to be one of the very best in the NFL.
They never even mentioned an interview for Tomsula. They all those other highly publicized interviews. Looks like they made their minds up before they even fired Harbaugh.

Jed York and Trent Balke are appearing to be pretty incompetent when it comes to running a football franchise.
Yes, I'm betting it's back to the dark ages. The Yorks made their money. They sold their licenses. I'm pretty well done with this franchise until it is sold to someone who is capable of and worthy to own it.

That way pretty much evident after they fired Harbaugh.

I refused to believe it with all the potential candidates that were out. But now, it's official. The rest of the staff is abandoning ship, that's all we need to know about where we're headed.

This is getting to be more of a nightmare as this debacle unfolds. These guys shouldn't be running a convenience store.

LOL. Ya. Because rushing 4 and dropping 7 every snap was real smashmouth.

Damn right we are !! If there was such a thing as 2nd division in the NFL, we will be right at the bottom of that !!

Yes the defense could be greater(?????-Huh), and we are to win a superbowl every year or we fire the coach. Yeah, Fangio was mediocre. He was only top 5 every year and produced a defense that literally carried this team. Not to mention this year when it still finished near the top even after being decimated with injuries. Sure, fire Fangio because we can be better.
Is their any chance someone is putting some serious hallucinogenic drugs into the water supply at Niner's headquarters. If not we are in worse trouble cause you can fix that. Psychosis is a much larger problem.

How can they call this a reload? The whole coaching staff is leaving minus Rathman? There is simply too much evidence now not to assume that Jed and Trent are wwwaaaayyyy in over their heads. Just plain incompetent. Give Jed credit for getting the stadium done by hiring the right people to do it for him. But when it comes to the football side....I feel pretty certain that in a few years the football world will look back on the end of this season for the Niners as one of the worst debacles ever.

I love Fangio and want him to stay, but let's not pretend what we've been doing on defense has been some game changing innovation. It's well known throughout the league that our defense is amazingly vanilla, and we just ran it really well.

If they thought the defense was the problem, they really are out to lunch. Besides, the Seahawks have the simplest defense in football and hardly ever blitz.

But will anybody be in the stadium if we start out 1-4.

The defensive staff may have been considered to be on of the best but the offensive staff was never considered that. If they were that good they would have a.passing game that made sense.

Just because they didn't announce an interview with Tomsula doesn't mean there wasn't one. Why does it matter if it was announced they interviewed him. We as fans are not entitled to know everything the FO does or why.
