Fixing the lack of Noise at the stadium

You know it's pathetic when your head coach has to call out the crowd at the stadium for not making noise.

I'd kinda like to know when being loud became the yardstick for 49er fandom.

It would be nice to have a loud stadium, but most of the league doesn't have that advantage.

It would be nice for Levi's to actually be home field advantage and it's not. The new crowd at Levi's is pretty depressing compared to the Stick sadly.

this reminds me of when AT&T park opened up .. the crowd sucked, it wasn't until 2002 when they went to the World Series that people started to get into the team again

I can't argue with that...but I think a lot of that has to do with the newness of the facility. Lots of peeps selling tix in year one because the resale value was so high. Tons of people wanting to get their first experience in the new building and check out all the bells and whistles. That means a bunch of first time guests every single game.

Over time, the newness will wear off and keep butts in seats. The resale will be less as well and Season Tix holders will attend more games themselves.

This was ALL to be expected. Successful venues aren't always a huge success overnight. Disneyland was a disaster. Candlestick was a joke. All takes time.

The problem is everyone should be standing and cheering on the first defensive series during the biggest game of the year.

You also dont need to stand to be loud...but you didnt notice Seattle had to go into the silent count..because they couldn't hear ?

No you don't need to stand to yell but standing will most definitely make that yelling louder and project further.

I hope that's the case obviously, it's just infuriating to go to a game and get chastised for cheering.

yeah it works for them, from the stadium design and what not. but it wouldnt work if the fans didnt buy into it.

seattle lost their first game against us in Clink as well... terrell owens shat all over them as well with sharpiegate

karma just took 12 years with the turkey-on-the-50 fiasco
