#1. Gase (keep Fangio and D Staff)
#2. Fangio (Vet OC Like Trestman or Hue Jackson..if they would let us)
#3. Ryan (With a GOOD OC, he probably would bring in garbage though, Could easily switch 3 and 4 around but I'm hoping #1 anyways)
#4. Kubiak (possibly Holmgren and Shanahan... I think they are past their prime though but would be interesting)
#5. Austin/Bowles (Be near the top of my list if we had a great O and a bad D. Rather just keep Fangio.
#6 Jackson or Hamilton (especially if we keep Fangio and d staff)
Least Favorite:
College Coaches Especially Mora, Helfrich....Bevell, Most of the Retreads, Dan Quinn, Tomsula (be great for 1-2 seasons but rah rah gets old fast, wouldnt bring in good OC likely plus lose Fangio and D staff maybe)
My Dark Horse To Succeed As A HC Although Likely Won't Be Hire By Us: Teryl Austin
I still have questions about Gase and who really runs Denver's offense-him or manning? I would put Fangio #1 and Kubiak #2. I would be rather upset/surprise if they hire another defensive mind to be the head coach over Fangio. It would be an extreme slap in the face to Fangio IMO.
Gase runs the offense! He's calling plays up till the headset is shut off. He even gives Peyton the audible options. Numerous articles on this. It would be a joke for the Niners to let him slip out of our hands

You guys are cheering for Shannahan praying in the witches coven we get Holmgren. It's not going to work with these two, sorry guys. Number one there both to damn old, ancient can we say. The oldest coach to ever win the Super Bowl was Dick Vermil he was 63. Now y'all are hooting and hollering for these talented, intellegent old farts?! There both sub 70. It's crazy. The other stat is any coach who has won a Super Bowl has never ever gone on to win it with another team... Never! That includes these two AARP canidates. So lets just move on from these two legends. Niether hasn't won a Super Bowl since the 90's. There ships have sailed and partially sunk by now...

Coughlin in the 2012 Superbowl was 65. He is still coaching at 68 turning 69 this year.

Meh, there is a first for everything. I'm not a big holmgreen fan and I'd rather have kubiac or gase before shanahan but I wouldn't mind shanahan either. Those guys winning a SB on previous teams doesn't scare me because eventually somebody will win the SB with two different teams.

I'm with you. My first pick is Gase second is Kubiac. Anyone else will probably be a tough pill for me to swallow

Call me crazy but I think Rex Ryan while risky might not be a bad idea. I think he could keep our defense just as productive if not better. More importantly he is a players coach, which we just lost in Harbaugh and that might make it easier for the players to handle. The big X-factor would be who we could land for our offensive coordinator. Would Jed and Trent want to deal with a coach like this again, not sure but the idea is not as wild as I once thought it was.

1) Holmgren (perfect tutor for Kaep)
2) Shanahan (WCO)
3) Kubiak (WCO)
the rest of the pack is unproven and unworthy to replace Harbaugh.

I'm a life long niner fan who lives in NYC..... Ryan is a terrible head coach. He wasn't even .500 after 6 years and only won with Mangini's picks. If we signed him as HC I'd switch to watching cricket. If Harbaugh wasn't good enough this clown certainly isn't an upgrade.
