The pump fake pass

just wondering why we never use it. Over the years you see Brett Favre, Peyton Manning and other QB's use it successfully but never our QBs. Since defenses are so aggressive and DB's going for that pick you think we'd use it more often and burn the defense. Y'all remember how Jeff Garcia would fake a pass to the right, spin around and pass it to the left on a screen pass with a player WIDE open...worked like a charm! thoughts?

Agree. This should be repeated over & over by coaches al day, everyday.

Kap so good he fakes himself into reading the defense completely wrong before calling timeouts....he got Jedi mind power over pump fakes....

a pump fake would be killer because the defenses jump routes kap stares at...the problem is we never use them...just like screens...just like misdirection plays. once per game is not enough, defenses will gladly give that gain up if we dont execute it more than once per game.

there is something very wrong going on with the coaches, Last years playoff game against the panthers Kaep almost had a pass picked off on a slant to bolding..a few series later they ran the same formation, but they added a pump N Go and Kaep Hit Boldin deep for a large gain.

i have no idea why we have gone away from creative play calling...or even adjust calling where it would help Kaep if he is really struggling...its as if GRoman is sabotaging our offense

Russell Wilson is the master of this. He pump fakes people 10 yards past the line of scrimmage and people STILL go for it almost every time allowing him to pick up extra yardage. I absolutely can't believe how good he is at it and that people have not figured out not to go for yet.
