WE are actually right on Schedule (we expected a Split) with Seattle

It's a big if the way we are playing but say we beat Oakland, SD and the Cardinals that's 10 wins there and means we would likely have to win a tie breaker with say Detroit or Cowboys which we would have over them. Seattle probably gets the 5th spot or higher if they dont take the division and AZ falls to the 5th spot. I don't think we would have a tiebreaker over Detroit since they would likely have a better conference record. I doubt they lose to the Bucs or Viks at home have to hope they lose at Bears which is a big if or at GB which is likely. So they end up 11-5 likely, maybe 10-6. Even if we beat Seattle on the road we are 11-5 and we have to still win the tiebreaker vs Detroit which is unlikely. Seems like we just made it so we have to win at seattle instead of at home and lose there to even have a chance.

I love your passion, but
I love your passion and optimism. But as long as G-Ro is coaching. Us winning 8 straight is a fanciful notion

Seattle 35 - SF 0
Our run defense has taken a massive dump in the last few weeks - they will probably give up 150 yards. Receivers won't get separation (whether or not they get mugged by the DBs). Gore and Hyde probably won't get more than 30 yards rushing combined because of the OLine and a stacked box. And Kaepernick will still continue to throw accurate completions to Richard Sherman on top of the inept play calling.

I'm laughing and crying because it's all true.

Do you really think Roman and the offense and Kap is gonna be ready in two weeks to beat Seattle at home? Kap straight up SUCKS against Seattle and to expect different is just setting yourself up for disappointment. Our offense has had years to get better and has gotten worse. We ARE NOT right on schedule. 7-5 with the league's worst offense with only 1 winnable game left is not on schedule unless you were aiming for the 15th pick in the draft all along.
Well the "law of averages" suggests we are due for a win in Sea....
They haven't looked invincible at home like last year

You know what truly adds salt to my wounds.. The insane amount of dumb luck that's always in Seattles favor..
1) The misplayed punt by Seattle that we couldn't capitalize on, and ultimately turned into a fumble by Cox.. Just just brutal..
2) The 4th down repeat of a punt that we ended up losing 30 yards on.
3) The other 2 fumbles by Seattle where the ball is bouncing all over but we couldn't even fall on one..
We just can't catch a Mo Fo break vs this team... I accept that we stunk but good lord can anything ever go in our favor vs Seattle.. Immediately Crab goes down to start the game and the tempo was set..
BS.

Umm Hello! Have you not noticed our Offense has regressed dramatically since? Last year with the exact sane record us and the skins had last year o. The same weekend. We beat the skins in DC 27-6, and ESPN still rightfully slammed G-Ro's horrible playcalling. This time we have the Skins at home with more weapon fire power. And we barely got out of there alive beating a bottom feeder team by 4 points. Optimism is out the window at this point lets just start being real. A high school coach could have done better. G-Ro the zero is going to continue to get worse and worse and worse

Wish I had your optimism. I will root for a win but damn they have given us nothing to be hopeful about before.

- Before yesterday Seattle had not won in the Bay Area in like 5 years, Niners have not won in Seattle since the end of 2011. The last time either team swept each other, Niners came on top. If you want to speak "law of averages" then this is Seattle's year to get the sweep

This is going to make me sound like an ass but all I want for that game is for someone to end Sherman's career. f**k him. He is a douche. Plain and simple. He can try and cover it up and people make excuses for him but he is what he is. A disrespectful a*****e.
I don't care if we cheap shot him. He deserves it. Great playet s**t hole competitor.

Although offense has regressed, I think by now coaches have enough "data" to know what works vs doesn't. They should adjust schematically.
We've played great first halves on offense (Ari, NO). I think the coaches know what changes to make - whether that's giving Kap the green light to run now as opposed to the playoffs. Let's face it, playoffs have officially started for us.
I guess my case is that we can adjust scheme overnight, but not talent. We already have talent...

I probably shouldn't be saying this, but I agree that would be a fantastic Christmas gift

I can pray and keep my fingers crossed that you're right because that seems very logical. However following the methodical pattern of Roman this season. It's going to take a miracle
