HOF selection has been a joke for a while now... Ricky Watters was Marshall Falk, before Marshall Falk.

but they let Marshall get in (first) because he works for NFL Network. Now they probably won't let Roger or Ricky in because they already have that type of RB and production in.

If he doesn't fumble, he would be the only running back to win 3 straight superbowls! So you can say 1 fumble shouldn't cost him a chance to be in the hall. But the fumble prevented the threepeat which surely would've earned him entry into Canton.

before people start screaming which 49er should be in the HOF, they may want to review "at which players expense". A lot of players are nominated, and they need to be better than he competition of nominees.

Clark will NEVER win that battle. Eddie D is despised by all owners, and Haley... is Haley.

Craig was a great back, but he had a fairly brief "quality" career. And he cost the 49ers a trip to stomp the Bills.

You have to be objective. You can't let a single bill buckner moment poison how you view a players career.

Roger Craig was an unbelievable athlete, playing his career at 220 pounds.

He was a fullback who ran like a halfback with the skill of a receiver.

As a bennie? He was a great blocker. No one seems to care about that because he was so good with the ball.

During these clips notice when he walks in the end zone. Why so easy? No one wanted to get in the way.

I'm not going to lie -- our best modern day 49er pure runner was Gore.

But no one matched Craig's versatility in a playbook, and his execution on the field.

His tape speaks for itself.

This guy is a champ and long overdue for serious recognition.
