Like the AFC west the last year, or the current one? lol

Btw, Alex is not coming back, just let it go. Or take it to NFL talk.

ya because he sucks since he cant beat the broncos with half the talent and no wr.

give the 49ers

alex smith
wilson
rivers
ben
foles
romo

and i think we're one of the top teams in the league. top 7 in weapons and its ridiculous the offense is a joke, a level slightly about the rams..
put kap in KC or seattle and they fall apart. KC MAYBE has 2 wins with kap

Something needs to change now. It appears this is our last shot for awhile. And its a long shot!

FACK!

The half injured defense is playing better than the full strength offense. Sad

Very. This is a sad week in niner land. Sunday it could all be over for this era.

Don't lose hope man. Many expected the 9ers to win last week and lose this week. If somehow we pull out a win this week. The season can still be salvaged.

I hope coaching unleashes Kap this week. Let him run. F making stay in the pocket...haha i said pocket, like there is one. Kap scrambling has gave the saints fits before so we need to get back to what works. Run some read option with Hyde. Something he excelled at in college. And pound the ball with frank. Mix in some playaction roll outs. That way Kap has the option to run if nothing is open. That is how you demoralize a defense, especially a saints type.
Kap is not a traditional pocket QB and it feels they're forcing it....

They need to RELEASE THE KAEPERNICK!

let him play his style

I'm just going to laugh off this post. Too much to reply to, but this isn't the thread for it.

I got hope. Its all i got.

I sill believe in Kap. He put up decent numbers despite having no protection. But he's not going to succeed if we don't balance it out with runs.

They need to RELEASE THE KAEPERNICK!

let him play his style

They are afraid to expose Kaep to injuries like the Redskins did with RG3.

Oh we'll. if he gets hurt so be it, Not to be a Dick, but that's the only way he's ever played this game. To take him out of his wlement is stupid. The hawks are not trying to do that with Russ, and it's worked.

I think that's why Kap spends a lot of time in the weight room to take the punishment. Also, Kap is pretty smart in knowing when to go down and he has that baseball slide down to a science. Something rg 3 sucks at.

No, he is not the answer at QB simply because his decision making level is that of a potato. Yes, he is great athelete and he can run. However, Jim Harbaugh has finally come to realize that he lacks football IQ and is not the long term answer. Since the 49ers signed Kap to a big contract, Harbaugh does not want to be handcuffed to him for years. Harbaugh had worked with one of the best QBs in the league - Andrew Luck, an athletic QB that can also think. Harbaugh also wants to do this on his own - he is not one to bow down to Balke. His demeanor on the sideline is that of "I can't wait till this season is over." Perhaps is he is eyeing Carr on the other side.

There's no reason Kaep can't do both. He's capable. It just takes time, but that's the frustration of being a fan. You want Kaep to be successful NOW!. I'm no different. But if Kaep gets injured for an extended period, are we prepared for Gabbert
I think it's too early to tell. That said, there is a lot of room for improvement. We need a real QB coach that can help Colin iron out his weaknesses and by now we all know what they are. As many of you have pointed out, instead of spending so much time in the gym, perhaps it's a good idea to lock yourself into a film room/work on your short game in the offseason?

Until CK can make that finesse throw, he'll continue to be a good, not great QB.

We'll the 9ers are at a brink of elimination so they better do whatever it takes. Desperate times call for desperate measures. If He gets injured then we go with Gabbert. And the laps contract is set up to where the 9ers can cut him any time. We'll I don't know how injuries plays into it but hopefully we won't have to find out.

Major blunder on Harbaugh part if he benched/traded Alex Smith for a project

That's sooo easy to say. There's a very good chance Smith would look worse right now. And he HAS looked worse than Keap's WORST DAY.

After that Bears game on MNF couple of years ago, Harbaugh seemed to totally bought into Kaep. And Kaep did looked fantastic. Sophomore slump for Kaep...? Maybe. This is his second full year as a starter.

The fact that David carr would make this list is alarming enough, really nullifies what this QBR stat says about kaep.
