They were getting gashed on the ground and their DC Perry Fewell kept smiling on the sidelines.
OBJ is gonna be like "ya shoulda traded up for me!"

Hope we can stop him

Gore/Hyde + heavier blitzing.

Not a fan of sending 3 or 4 and everyone else back in coverage.

Even Seattle had the good sense to basically abandon the passing game and just run on them. Consequently a 17-17 game turned into a 38-17 blowout in less than a quarter.
This would be a great game to bring back the read option. The Giants have no contain discipline.
We haven't blown anyone out in a while. I think it's time

Wilson had a very mediocre game, and they still steam-rolled them. Kap has to have a better game than Wilson, as it's very doubtful we'll be as successful on the ground.

But Seattles coaching staff and Niners coaching staff think differently. I hope the niners stick to that same game plan. I would not be F'n surprised either if they go to the 5-wide. Lets just hope its bad weather in NY next week so they have to run the ball.

I think they'll be successfull on the ground. The question is will Roman/Harbs recognize that and stick with it.

I'm going with Roman's historical approach (along with every DC with a pulse). He'll run a combination of 5 - 7 plays, take 17 seconds to send in a combination of three... a combination given away by the alignment.

If it's a pass, the 49ers will be in a running formation which will give Keap 1 1/2 seconds to throw. If it's a run, the 49ers will be in a pass formation and run to the strength of the defense.
Why JPP didnt see the half time adjustments.... "I don't know. I was in the bathroom"

Give this man a breakfast burrito on Sunday.

The Rams were ranked dead last in our first meeting and we beat them through the air because like always, they sold out to stop the run. Majority of the time, statistics do not mean a thing when teams gameplan to specifically stop the opposing team's best aspect. I highly doubt we run the ball down the Giants throat like their statistical rank would imply. Kaep will have to beat them, like the majority of the games this year as teams know we want to run the ball and sell out trying to prevent that.
