SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS VS. ST. LOUIS RAMS GAMEDAY THREAD (Week 9)

I want to see a CONSISTENT game. And a nice job closing it. That'll make all of us feel a lot better.

We know we are a lot better than STL. We have an extra week to prepare and get healthy. I expect a consistent game, and more importantly closing it out the right way. I hope we stay committed to Frank, Hyde and the running game. I

Definitely need a win here! As we have another back-2-back road gauntlet afterward.

We need our run game to get back into the swing of things!!

of course we gotta win this. I think we have to go 7-2 rest of the way to get into playoffs.

I agree, 11-5 seems like the lower end... Which means that we can only lose two more games (@SEA, @NO, @NYG, SEA, ARI). Some tough games, but doable... Problem is we can't have a brain-fart game like CHI!

Rams already know they can't beat us straight up so the Niners just need to be wary of strategically placed trickery and not let down their guard. Like what Cook sniffed out back in St. Louis. They should simply expect the Rams attempting it, especially on ST.

Niners 34
Rams 16

We should never underestimate any team, especially a team coached by Pornstache, but I have a very hard time believing the Rams stand a chance once we get serious.

They got a tough game in KC, then they travel to Levis to face a rested team that was recently humiliated on national television... not a good situation to be in.

This could be an extension of the bye week... I hope the coaches use this game wisely (warm up, experiment, etc.).

It's the same thing for many of our games lately, it seems.

Philly had just gotten their first loss to SF, so were "pissed off"

Hawks had just lost to Dallas, so were "pissed off"

Now, SF has just lost to Denver, so is "pissed off"

Well, at least KC is all happy as pie since they just beat the Chargers.

Cawks were pissed, but the Rams were more pissed for letting one (49ers) slip away. Fisher has the biggest balls in the NFC west with those trick plays... he wasn't going to be denied twice in a row at home.

If you guys pull it off in KC, I'll be more surprised than last weeks win... good luck tho

.. their coaching staff is doing a hell of a job keeping that young team together and playing hard.. Fischer is an oustanding coach... We can not allow the Rams to get 14 points ahead of us again, because they may just close us out this time..

Hopefully we have Aldon back. If not at least the O Line had a bit of rest and we'll have P Willis back for sure. I think Jonathan will open up some holes that Kilgore probably could not have. We'll see.
