woulda, coulda, shoulda. I wanted them to score more too but a win is a win.

I don't think it was for lack of trying. We got hosed on a couple calls in the second half, I think we would have scored more otherwise.

Yeah. Penalties killed two second half drivers and we missed a FG. The one on VDs play was a terrible call and the other drives got killed by holding calls. We didn't get conservative or stop trying. You're just not going to score on every drive.

Your right not every drive but can you explain why not in a WHOLE HALF of football

Watch the game again...then read this again

Ok. So how many points did we score in the second half

This. We got hosed on 4 calls. 2 illegal contact, 1 offensive PI, and 1 holding call that were absolutely ridiculous. I'd trust a blind man to officiate the games more than these refs. This game was a blowout in my mind.

Yes, Dallas turned the ball over and made mistakes. We forced all those turnovers. Our guys made those plays, so we can't pretend Dallas played a good game, when they didn't. Yards don't mean s**t. Dallas always gains a ton of yards, and lose games just like this.

Just like Ware getting all those sacks that didnt mean s**t.

It's ridiculous...everyone knows they NFL is "emphasizing" the various illegal contact-type penalties because of the Seahawks, yet I believe they were only called for 2 on defense, 1 of which a very obvious PI and other I think was pre-snap, which would mean ZERO illegal contact calls. How many on the Niners today, including horrible offensive PI call on Lloyd?

No, I'm not saying the NFL is "favoring" Seattle or there's a conspiracy against the 49ers, but they set themselves up for this s*** by deciding they need refs looking extra hard for certain things on which to throw a flag. Something's wrong if the 49ers don't at least get one of those "oops we f****ed up" apologies from the NFL on Mon or Tues this week...and better yet would be to stop trying to make officials a bigger part of the game than they already are.

Ok, if you wont say it I will. Its obvious the NFL doesn't want san francisco to be successful. It's just that simple. The refs have their marching orders. Make game changing calls do what it takes to give the opposing team an opportunity to win or stay in the game.

If you're saying specifically against the 49ers? No they don't. The only "marching orders" they have are to "emphasize" certain calls, so instead of it just being something they "naturally" see in the flow of the game, they're actively looking for it and they've got a hair trigger and are practically throwing the flag on reflex for anything that might be the call they're looking for.

So what happened when they picked up the flag on the illegal contact that would have gave us a first down ?

Hated Tank and Dial not playing.
Secondary played okay, think we might be in trouble against better teams. Would like some help back there.
Phil Akers....what's wrong with this dude?!? Lets actually draft a stud kicker one of these years.
LMJ...no clue why he's still with us or what he's doing on the field.
LOVED seeing pass pass pass pass pass....we used to do that and destroy teams. Hopefully it continues...but don't get too comfy later in games...keep the pedal to the floor and light 'em up!!

Bring on the Bears!

Re: LMJ, 2 times he rushed the ball the play was blown up, how is that his fault? But yet they'll call a swing pass to Bruce Miller out in the flat...yeah, wouldn't want to try that with LMJ or Ellington.

Fine...because Goodell pushed the buzzer all referees carry during 49er games. Happy?

I'm concerned about the defense because every other game after this doesn't involve Tony Romo. On both of his endzone picks, he had guys wide open on play action that I thought for sure were his first read and automatic scores. Basically, I thought the defense played worse than it seemed, and the offense played much better than it seemed.

This. On that Eric Reid INT, the Cowboys had a receiver completely wide open way downfield. This was by no means a great performance by the defense, they struggled against the run and there were some very open receivers out there but considering that they were playing with backup CB's for much of the game, its fine for now but lots of stuff they need to improve upon.

Romo must be a "one-read qb".
we didnt involve Crabs as much as we could but overall was a solid passing attack.
Niner Talk gonna Niner Talk

Enjoy the win guys! It is difficult to go on the road and get a "W" week 1. We obviously have issues to work out but I trust in our coaching staff to address the issues. After this "horrible" preseason, we came out and dominated.

1-0 feels damn good.

I think the secondary did ok. The run defense on the other hand was completely AWOL.

I doubt Dallas plays an amazingly clean game...and we play like Seattle

I will pay close attention to what Goodell and co say and do about the officiating in this game. It was so obvious these officials were deliberately trying to keep the game close or were Dallas fans. I lost count of how many bad calls went against the Niners in the second half, all of them on key plays. The P.I call on Brandon Lloyd was criminal. Even Aikman didn't try and sugar coat them. It really was disgusting to watch.....Shame on the NFL!

People wonder why so many people believe that Goodell and co manipulate the outcome of games to secure the superbowl of their choosing. There really is no defending what happened in todays game.....shocking!

I'm watching the Denver game, and Dean Blandino -- and crew sequestered in a studio in NYC -- just overturned
a ruling on the field. I made a mention of this (earlier in this thread), and questioned why their absence ... and why
he and his crew, were not doing what we were told (all off-season) what they would ... Check/Police the Officials:

I don't usually complain about the Refs, and I try not to give credence to the conspiracy
theorist ... however, today's game really tested me.

Wow- new here but these niners fans are sketchy. Seriously. Come on, yes the niners d is not going to be as strong with starters missing. But they did pretty well considering. It was suppose to be a shoot out? They proved you wrong. Now it's "Hey they gave up so many run yards." Well they are going too missing bowman, smith etc. But that many interceptions, solid win- looks like this supposed 'suspect d' did pretty freaking good. Don't really know what else you want from them.

Word
Oh romo

nevermind

Honestly not sure what you mean...but anyway, it's simply bad officiating, there is no nefarious plot against the 49ers. But by all means, if you want to press on with the conspiracy theories, have at it.
