I was responding to what someone on here said. I just forgot to quote it. They said no one around the country likes Sherman outside of Seattle. But people around the country like Kaep and Crabtree. And that's not how it is at all.

If that was even true it all changed last night. Sherman was on national TV running his mouth and cursing, AFTER A WIN.......

There's a difference between supporting a player and embracing everything he does. Crabtree has made some amazing plays for Kap and the team, but I am not sold on him because of his contract nonsense and would always encourage him to put the team first. Just because a guy puts on the red and gold does not make him above the code of common decency.

Most Seattle fans I speak to support Sherman and love his douchebaggery no matter what. They eat that sh!t up without thinking because they can't fathom how to be critical of something and support it at the same time. Complete lack of objectivity.

I'm not saying you do (though I wonder why you're on a SF forum doing damage control...). I'm saying the majority of the Seahawks fanbase does. Refusing to hold someone to the same standards as everyone else because he's on your favorite sports team is gutless.

Watching the NFLN replay of last night cuz I'm a glutton for punishment. We shoulda kept the ball after Lee's punt/ankle roll. I don't care what anyone says, we got royally f**ked by the refs.

crabs and sherman had an altercation during a charity event. word is crabs tried to fight him, sherman didn't fight so other people started to say he was a (fill in the blank here)

Both guys don't like each other. Many people around the NFL don't like sherman. It's fun to see him get punched in the face. He really isn't that clever or funny how he talks trash. When sherman gets punched in the face, God sends us another kitten.

You have to keep in mind that professional football players are performers-entertainers. Most of them are not anyone that I'd model my life after. I wouldn't emulate Richard Sherman anymore than I would Ozzy Osbourne. That being said, they are both good at what they're paid to do. Go SEAHAWKS!!!

Disagree fundamentally with this. You might not do so, but kids across the country and around the world look up to professional athletes as role models. The people who can't maintain objectivity are weak minded. Go BRONCOS!!!

In a perfect world, all rock stars and athletes would be squeeky clean and all be like Russell Wilson. This is not a perfect world. We have hot-headed characters like Richard Sherman and Jim Harbaugh.
