Update on who's salary is guaranteed, and who can be cut to save cap room

How do you see it playing out if we get some of those hurt guys back?

I take it that with Tony Jerod-Eddie playing and Tukuafu being active that Tukuafu will be cut when Dobbs comes back. Should be announced tomorrow. Seems like him or Stupar but probably Tukuafu. Ventrone is the punt protector and seems to be Seely's guy so he will likely stay and get his 880k especially since him being on the roster for the Packers game guarantees his entire salary. So that is step one. Then we will have to see who comes back after week 6.

Manningham - Doesn't seem like Harper is going anywhere with a 3 year deal. He will be inactive most of the season. Baldwin probably not gone either. Seems like we will just go with 6 WR's if Harper counts as a TE and then we would cut from somewhere else. Stupar after Tukuafu seems 2nd most likely.

Crabtree - Since not on IR-designated to return list would come back and be inactive until he is ready to go.

Eric Wright - Probably an off the field thing and will depend on how our CBs are doing. Could be cut after week 6.

Carradine and/or Dial - I'd say Dial would be more likely to come back then Carradine. I wish they were ready and playing well because we could use them. TJE and/or Dobbs could be gone if they are back. TJE would go before Dobbs IMO.

So I'd rank them Tukuafu tomorrow when Dobbs comes back. Then Stupar 2nd to go with Manningham or Crabtree back. Then if Dial or Carradine back TJE would go. After that it is anyone's guess as I think Harper and Baldwin are safe. I think Wright gets cut after week 6. Not sure he would be more than 4th or 5th CB anyways and he doesn't play ST.
