Again NO ONE at this moment is discussing Mangini as a Niners HC candidate outside of this conspiracy filled forum.

So no one is discussing him except for the people who are discussing him. Got it.

Pretty much, I could qualify it as "no one of note." But you already knew that and just want to stir up sh*t.

Please link a current article showing Mangini being legitimately considered by the niners… till then

So you've got nothing to support your position and you're trying to stir the pot with a whole lot of nothing, good to know.

Strange he's seen as a Harbaugh guy when his working relationship with Baalke dates back to the 90s.

He doesn't have a "working relationship" with Baalke. He was a lowly assistant, Baalke was a lowly scout, there's little to support that they knew each other any more closely than walking by in the hallways at Jets HQ.

Source: 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh considered moving Eric Mangini to quarterbacks coach.

One source said moving Mangini to quarterbacks coach and promoting quarterbacks coach Geep Chryst to offensive coordinator was an option for coach Jim Harbaugh's reshuffling of the coaching staff if the 49ers lost offensive coordinator Greg Roman. The source said he does not believe Harbaugh plans to make any changes.

Mangini's consideration for quarterbacks coach, which a separate source confirmed to CSN reporter Mindi Bach, is interesting because his background was exclusively on defense before joining Harbaugh's staff in June as an offensive assistant.

Harbaugh speaks with Ladouceur, Mangini about consultant roles

Mangini said he first met Jim Harbaugh two years ago when the 49ers spent a week in Youngstown, Ohio. Mangini is still close with special teams coach Brad Seely, Magini's assistant when he was the head coach of the Browns, and Seely invited him to the session. He said he took a trip to Santa Clara earlier this offseason and that he and Harbaugh have been talking about a role since.

Mangini formerly coached the Jets and Browns. Until last season, his expertise mainly has been on the defensive side of the ball. But he was brought in by Jim Harbaugh to work with the team's offense by offering a defensive-minded perspective.

Harbaugh also said he consulted with Mangini, who watched games from the coaches' booth, on replay reviews. The 49ers were 2-9 on replay challenges in 2013. Only five teams were worse.

Asked Thursday what made Mangini right for coaching tight ends, Harbaugh said, "He has a very extensive resume as a football coach. He spent the whole season on the offensive side of the ball last year. He's coached an entire defense, an entire team. He's more than qualified to coach three, four, five tight ends."

Dude this is a fan forum. It's not a courtroom where positions need to be argued with sources cited. You sound like a lawyer. Or a politician.

Him having a point of view contrary to yours doesn't mean he's inciting or instigating anything. You just need to learn to deal with the fact that people will believe different things than you.

If you don't like what he has to say, you can even say, "You're wrong". But you can't shut him up.
Just enjoy

Wow. And I thought Kap struggled this year as it was. I can't imagine how far Kap would have slid under Mangini after seeing the way he worked wonders with the tight ends. Let the Raiders take him. They owe us for the false hope this past game gave them.

Great find, makes you wonder what next year would of looked like if Harbaugh had stayed. Mangini as QB coach (if Roman left)… hard to even say that with a straight face.

I could say the popular thing that "what??!! Eric Mangini??!!" But, this is the team we have chosen to ride or die with. We can all say what we feel the FO should do or even should have done (traded a bunch of picks for O B Jr.) That's easy as HELL! Whosoever our team chooses as HC, that's the HC we have. And, there's no telling what is going to happen with whomever gets the job. All we can hope for is a better offensive effort and smarter and more imaginative play than before. And a big fast wr in the draft!
