Not sure if this topic has already been broached, but does anyone know why Kaep seems considerably older for a player only going into his third year? I see that he spent an extra year at Nevada; is this the only cause? Or was he held back at a younger age? Not a huge deal, just seems strange that he's already 25 and as old as some of our players who have been on the team for a number of years.

Hey, it's a valid topic and certainly a lot better than a lot that I've seen.

Six years seems long to be at college, even as a redshirted freshman.

I agree.

I remember someone saying his age last season and thought to myself "damn he is a lot older than I thought, that is pretty annoying". Then I realised, I would rather have Kap at 25 than some other random player who doesn't have his unique skillset but is 21. i.e. if you have a potential Franchise QB who is 25 you take him irrespective of the fact that he is slightly older than his peers.
