This loss has nothing to do with the refs or karma. We were grossly outplayed in the 1st half. We lost the turnover battle. We couldn't stop the Ravens on 3rd down. We gave up a kickoff return to start the 2nd half.

Even after all that, we have a chance to win it at the end. The redzone playcalling was awful, and our timeout management was horrific. We made a HUGE mistake when we burned our 2nd timeout instead of taking the 5 yard penalty. We could have had the ball back with 1 minute left, instead we had 4 seconds. This loss is on our secondary, special teams coverage, redzone playcalling, and time management.

Can't argue with that. Nice post.

Yep, I was saying all game that the Ravens didn't really do anything that impressed me. They, simply, didn't shoot themselves in the foot the whole game.
I joked with my friend that since Ray Lewis would be getting the "Jerome Bettis" treatment from the refs that the Ravens would only be called for 3 penalties the whole game.

They only got 2 flags. I'm not laughing.

We came in flat in the first half! We were not prepared! And Kap looked lost in that first half, horrible play calling by Roman. The dynasty is offically dead. Kap is the first Niner QB to throw an INT in the SB!! John definitely outcoached Jim for the 2nd time! And folks next season is going to be very tough, we may not even make the playoffs. They smacked us in the mouth and we didn't smack back!
Yeah, Kapow couldn't make the right call at the line in the first half, and that killed us.
F**king out coached

Someone brought it up but wtf was the clock running after those pass plays that went out of bounds when the 9ers had the ball at about 10:20 left in the 4th? Ck throws a pass to I forget who--I think Davis, he gets out of bounds, you'd think the clock would stop, but it's 9:47 when they're lining the f**k up?

This happened 2-3 more times too. Is there a rule I'm not familiar with?
Yeah I saw that to. Also when Goldson tackled the Ravens RB out of bounds (pearce I think) and there was 10 seconds left on the clock, but they let it run and the 3rd quarter ended.

You can never predict the future. We went on a roll after that timeout. 17-0 nothing run. We had our chance, 1st and goal at the 5...4 tries to punch it in and we failed.

I'm not laughing, either.

I think we Manningham, Williams, and Hunter............we would have had a different outcome. But we'll really only know next year.

With our squad, and probably upgrades in the offseason, I see us making it back into the playoffs regardless of Seattle, St Louse, and the Cards.

I think a different OC wins it
im so heartbroken..but damn am i proud my team came back the way they did no matter what i still love my niners and well be back but f**k this is gonna sting for a while.

We lost our chance at a superbowl when Harbaugh betrayed Alex.

Like I said before the playoffs, its all about Karma for us now. Winning the superbowl would have depended on whether Harbaugh made an honorable decision and none of us saw it, or that he did what we all suspected, a betrayal.

Looks like we have our answer.

We wouldnt have been here genius.

Alex is a very good QB, but Kap single handedly won us both playoff games with speed and pinpoint deep passes.
u know true king, my wife said the same s**t, i mean it is what it is.

Kaep couldnt of gotten this far without Alex's 6-2 record, then after the switch, Kaep helped us get here.

My wife said, well thats Kharma, and what u get when u do someone dirty to win now, when it shouldnt of been done.

I just told her, i dont wanna hear that now. Prolly wont post for a few more days, as i know it's probably gonna get crazy in here.

I will say this about the game. We should of come out as a team in the first half, as we did in the second. just that simple.

I dont even care about next year at this point right now. Just feel all f**ked up (Sorry for cursing mods)

Yeah, it's easy to see. Glad your wife understands the law of action/reaction.

When Harbaugh made that call, and all the Alex haters cheered, I knew were done. I just knew. To be honest, I was hoping it would happen before the Superbowl so it wouldn't hurt as bad.

Alex would have won this game. No way he would have let us go down so big so early. Steady ball control, move the chains, eat up clock, let the defense rest.

I don't understand why the Alex haters love the erratic game we have under Kaptain Kapow. I love the kid, but it was going to eventually kill us.

If you love the kid so much follow him to his next team. Kaepernick is here to stay because he is hands down a better player right now than Smith could ever hope to be. Wish ya luck with your new bandwagon.
