That does make alot of sense, but there's nothing that would keep such a team from signing Tolzien and waiving a newly signed QB is there? Maybe if they paid the new QB a signing bonus or guaranteed part of his salary.

I'm kind of the opinion that we all like Tolzien cause he's a Niner, but that he's really not that highly valued by other teams. I'm guessing that they take the risk and waive him, then bring him back on the PS.

I think they gamble on cutting Tolzien and sneaking him onto the practice squad.

cause i mentioned that the fact that Cooley and Moore are available makes it easier to put Reuland on the PS

Damn. Tough break for him, he looked good. Hope he gets picked up by another team. Or maybe he makes it back here in a few days.
