Post # 967: Yup, true form, once again, 9ers are off the grid in local papers(SLO), local news, all ESPN...all the time, same for national sports shows on radio.... Man, I had had it years ago about this bs., but this is taking it to a new level. Peyton Manning, Tebow, Sanchez, Jets, Broncos, Giants...but nofrickinbody else. Were it not for the webzone (we don't get SFO radio down here...or do on occasion, but poor pickup), I wouldn't know TC even started for the 9ers. There is seemingly a news blackout, but I can tell you everything about Peyton and Tebow if I chose to watch the f**d up sportsnews. This is not only boring, it is insulting. On the other hand, maybe nobody will even know we went thru TC and PS with a bit of luck, and we can surprise once again. I can tell you this. GB has no idea what we are doing, in that there is a total SF news blackout if you don't live in SF. For ESPN, they should be ashamed of themselves for putting on such a slobbering love affair with both peyton and Tebow. I bet sanchez doesn't think much of it either. Whatever, this post wil be reprised next yr again at this time, with the same complaint. As for the national media...they are missing the best story in the NFL. So much the better for us, I suppose.....

Does it really matter? Harbaugh, if you been under a stone doesn't actually open up training camp to the media. As it has been reported the ones that have been in attandance have been kept at length almost a football field away, no close up. Which is good because they can't hear or see really good what the niners are really doing and thinking. Don't need no Bill Bellicheat videogate.

Its one of the reasons the niners opted out of that show from the show on espn that could have featured them like it did the jets.

As Sun Tzu said, know your enemy and know yourself, fear for naught in a 100 battles. so why let your rivals know to much. Like who we got as far as young potential players. You want to sneal them past your rivals if you want them on ps for a year or two. Don't want the Rams who are desperate for talent, nor the seachickens who Carrol knows that JH and Baalke knows how to get talent raiding our cubbards.

80sbaby, that was a great post. Incidentally, the opening line, post #967 meant that this was the 967th thread on this topic....and maybe that is low. Hey, no different than during the Montana yrs, except he won 4 SBs and we still got ignored. But as note, this is very probably in large part due to Harbaugh...and, he is right.

screw ESPN they are the TMZ of sports. NFL network is better but there is still a bias against west coast teams by both. I am so sick of all the Tebow BS about him taking Sanchez' job. If the Jets wanna go to the playoffs they need a QB that can actually throw. I'm in Vegas and I've seen some people jumping on the 49er bandwagon here lately but if it wasn't for the zone I wouldn't know anything going on in camp with the lack of media attention.
