why not? it's preseason, the intensity just isn't the same, j. smith didnt play, aldon won't play, etc.

I agree with Donnie on this. The only guy that looked like he was going 100 percent was Willis. He hustled across the field and if he touched you, you're tackled. Brooks, Bowman and Goldson didn't seemed to take the game ass serious. Very sloppy on the tackles.

Edit: I'm not saying they "dont care," but they are less likely to lay it all on the line for a game that doesn't matter. Do they really want to seperate their shoulder in a pre-season game? Same reason why a QB might slide instead of go head first.

Can we assume that this Randy 20-25 snaps/gm is false? Starting to see conflicting reports about that.

Holy crap look at how this deteriorated.

Smith's offseason work looks to be paying dividends. Good to hear! Even the Cohns have Started bashing other players since they arent getting much bashing material.

I can't remember which national writer at the 49ers camp wrote that, but it was picked up by ESPN. It would telegraph passing situations doing that with Moss and I hope he is a full time player getting 70 to 80% of the snaps. I want to see Moss take out large swaths of defenders via his routes.

My opinion? Absolutely false. The genesis was an off the cuff statement made by a reporter visiting TC. Not a quote from a coach or player, and not even a paraphrase of a quote. Some dude just said it and folks have run with it. When I hear Harbs or Roman say that (which I doubt that they would EVER do), then I will believe it. Until then?

VD has brought himself up to another level after the last second TD catch against the Saints. Reminiscent after TO made his catch. He became a super star of the league after that with his play to another level.
