My old seats; $80keach for the sbl rape job and $$375 a game per seat, I had 2, I told them to kiss my a$$ and howl at the moon. My pal has 3 next to me from his dad via the Kezar days, he told the person doing the presentation to f**k off and die(quarter mil for the 3 sbls and one season worth of tix for each). Another bro sits in section 16 Niner sideline, and he, and ALL his banker and real estate friends told the presenter, you will never get another penny of my money. It's going to be ALL corporate in most of the lower bowl and I can tell you from going to 3 of the Niners Super Bowls in the past, they are REAL jerks to sit around. So much so I had to follow a few to the pissaria to have a little talk with them after the games. Only New Orleans when the Joe & Jerry show put up 55, was the ambiance good.

IMO, there will be NO long time season tix holders between the 20's in the lower bowl. I sincerely hope that place is half empty for most games, just like the Raiders place was the fans got hammered for the PSLs.

And please, no pinheads lecture me about the cost of living, and how the Niners have to suck the life out of everyone they can to get their money back.

Hey Mr.Reddog; post away and whatever you do, do not pay attention to these pubescent people sitting in front of monitors prepared to harass you from afar, many here, are not like them. Tell them to...heeee this SBL thing REALLY gets me pissed immediately..

If it's so expensive how come the Chiefs fan's pay $10 to park and from $30 to $150 to sit and watch, a few other stadiums are like that too...

I'm coming back to the Cruz this year and next to catch the last 4 games I can experience and my beloved Stick, regardless of it's lack of high-end amenities, and what a time it will be...I don't see myself coming back anytime really soon after the next two seasons to throw money at Jed and his pals..actually his daddy, Jed has no money in this I'll wager..

Dominate this year -- NINERS!

what do they do with it? is it a museum? is it still open to the public?does it look like it used to. i am sorry to ask so many questions but i am really interested in it!
Good thing the Kezar fans are priced out. Last thing we need is old farts at the stadium who can barely yell and want people in front of them to sit down because they don't want to stand up.

thank you joe. oh and to your comment about us old geezers not making noise, I think you should ask my 27 year old daughter about how her father was acting and how loud he was screaming during the saints game! for some of us we still have that fire!

I love the way these guys that are mad try to act tough and say that during their meeting with the 49ers they told the rep to f**k off. Sure you did.

Well said. It's tiresome to wade through three pages of "humor" to get down to brass tacks.

I too am planning one last hurrah at the old orange b!tch. It's going to be tough to let her go, especially when "progress" doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I'm firmly in your boat, the NFL seems increasingly driven toward making football a detached, "once removed" TV sport. Between their stupid Game of the Week strategy for late games, eager embrace of fantasy football, and belief that big money matters more than fans at the stadium, I find it perfectly reasonable that my nephews and Godkids are followers of individual NFL players, but fans of European soccer clubs. The NFL is the most profitable sports league in the world, and it's making mistakes that reflect that standing--creative destruction follows quickly on the heels of success. The cracks in the edifice are already visible, I just hope they don't fall too far.

I just saw an Earthquakes game there the other night. It's been bigtime remodeled since the old days. It was downsized, and resembles a high school football stadium of today. The PA system was so horrible, they tried to play the National Anthem and ended up asking the crowd to sing it because they couldn't get it to work.

wow. Thank you. if i ever go out there i am actually more excited about seeing that place as much as the stick. guess you could never have a pre season nfl game for old times sake? would parking and seating allow for a nfl pre season game as a PR thing?

there is probably enough seating for a preseason game, but it will not happen because then they will lose the revenue of that preseason game.

of course, logic rares its ugly head not to mention the dollar.
