When the shovels officially hit the ground on may 1st, is this a public event where anyone could attend or is it mainly for the 49ers brass and important people? I soooo wanna go and I think it would be neat if the zone could meet up-kinda like a party of some sorts. I tried to get answers in the parking lot and inside the new stadium thread, but no one replied yet.

There's certainly a lot of history behind the 'stick but logistically there are a lot of advantages to Santa Clara including less traffic and better parking. The new building will make its own history.

The Stick gets a bad wrap. There's tons of history. I, personally, could care less about the scoreboard. And if you know where to park, the parking is not as bad as people make it out to be

in this case, I think the costs associates MORE with the construction of the stadium than player's salaries.

I was referring to someone saying that the players deserve a better place to play
