Yep. We need be patience. Johnson will learning about Cox played a great for 12 passes defended. So Johnson can play for part time then give him take time for developing.

Cox sure is having a Pro Bowl season thus far... he seems to be around the ball, if not the play, each time I see a QB throwing the ball..

I'd be pissed if Brock gets his job back that easily...

I expect Ward to be the #4 CB with Culliver/Brock on the outside and Cox at slot when Brock gets healthy.

I absolutely LOVE Cox in the slot. He creates so many knock-downs, tips in the air, potential INT's, etc. He's bigger and stronger than Ward as well. Culliver looked like he was playing about 1/2 speed last night but then Cook and Johnson came in when Cox moved inside and you could see the difference instantly. When/if Brock ever gets 100% healthy and balling again, I'd love to see him lock down LCB, Cox in the slot and a battle at RCB with Culliver, Cook and Johnson. Surprisingly, Cully looks like the least aggressive and physical of that bunch!

Personally, I like Cully in the slot... he started there as a rookie and did well.. I think his temper will make Manning go early and often after him until the dude breaks down..

I say we move him inside and keep Cox - Johnson - Cook & Brock outside as much as possible...

as for Ward, just let him concentrate on being a gunner, and learn some FS position..

If we learned anything from the Alex/Kaepernick situation, it's that Harbaugh doesn't care whether you lost your job due to injury or performance. Cox is balling out right now so I think he's gonna keep his job

Brock wont lose his spot lol. Cully will shift to the nickle corner and Cox takes Cully's spot.

Why not? He played well in the slot his rookie year. And Jimmie is not ready yet.
