The Genius -- book on Bill Walsh

I'm sure many of you have read this book. I have read books on the 49ers, an Bill Walsh's book "Finding the Winning Edge". But this book tells a story I had never heard before. 1. I didn't realize Walsh was so manic about wins and losses. 2. And as much as Eddie D was an awesome owner, I didn't realize he would fly into tirades in the locker room and ripping into Bill W. so much. 3. I didn't realize that players had such a love-hate, or difficult relationship with Bill -- especially Montana. What are your thoughts on this book?

Loved it. Walsh was intense. Eddie D was a maniac.

Anytime a baseball fan tries telling you that football is just a bunch of meatheads, and not an intellectual game, I just open that book, show them some of the plays and ask them to explain them to me. Yeah, you go throw your ball to the catcher and pray it doesn't get hit.
