49ers Draft Party 2012

Draft partys are lame.. I went the year we picked Vernon.. It was overcrowded , overpriced food, all around lame.. Id rather just goto New York and goto the regular draft .

Must not be a true football fan...the NFL draft has become a highly rated show which is now shown nationally on thursday nights. I went the year we got crabtree (thanks to someone on the zone saying that you can just enter any number as your "season tix number" and you get a ticket in) and it was pretty sick.

Got to walk around and meet random people like Gary Plummer, reggie smith, etc. Then they did a tour of the locker room and you had to have a paid ticket thing to get in, but me and my dad just casually walked by and walked in. >:)

It was cool because some dude came out and was like who do you guys want to see us drafting? .. B.J Raji..blah blahh.. or perhaps michael crabtreeee? and everyone erupted. Then when the Raiders got DHB everyone was dyiiinnnggg. Then Packs got Raji and everyone was high-fiving and chanting Crabtree. It was a pretty sick memory.

I'm going to this one because my dad paid $20 for 4 tix.. I was like eh.. we pick 30th and might trade back soooo ehh. But he wants me to want to go so im going.

I was there too! People were going bananas when the Raiders and Jacksonville skipped on Crabtree. It exploded when we selected him at 10. Now I wish we would have gotted Orakpo or Clay Matthews Oh well it was fun. Going again this year!
