Weren't they like 40:1 or something like that last year? I think I remember seeing something like that in some Vegas casinos. Or perhaps my memory is not serving me correctly. I don't know. I didn't make the bet. Just off the top of my head. Anyway that's an improvement right. People will take us seriously when we make the big game. Until then they will continue to doubt us due to past problems that are still the perception but not the reality.

I put 300 on the Niners this year halfway through the season after the Washington game. I was getting 6 to 1. 16 to 1 is great deal though I would like to put money on them. The only "major" risk is injury and bad luck too. But Harbaugh and Company are going to be ready next year for sure.
I'll throw a bill on that.
with our Away Schedule .. I think i will wait till we sign Peyton Manning :p

If we signed Peyton Manning that ish would move to 8:1
its like 12-1 win the nfc championship. I might put some money on it
i put a $10 spot on 40:1 this past season
I think its 10-1 for the bowl tied with houston
I'll just wait to see what happens with the Alex situation....if we resign him the odds should still be the same, and I'll make a bet.

if for some reason we can't come to an agreement (most likely Baalke)...then the odds will drop way further and I'll jump on that still make the bet.

Las Vegas odds are merely a reaction to how oddsmakers think people will bet. Oddsmakers aren't in it to predict who's going to win, but rather... to make money based on what the betting public thinks.

I don't put a lot of stock into it. I mean, if you look at it... we're behind the Eagles and have the same odds as the Chargers, for Pete's sake. When you really think about it, there's very good reason to believe we'll be among the top 4 teams in the league, given how little roster turnover we'll have and an offseason of continuity for the offense.
I saw that article and a few days before got thhe Niners at 12-1 at Green Valley Ranch Casino.
