We have lost the most NFC championship games

I was driving around town and listening to KNBR and I started to think about how many NFC championship games we have lost. I was thinking we probably lost the most times out of any team. I was right 13 nfc championship game with 8 losses. We are missing somany rings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFC_Championship_Game

Here's the thing. Say we were in the AFC during the 80's......we probably make 2/3 of the Super Bowls but lose half of those. So would you rather be
Niners: 5-0 in Super Bowls
Cowboys: Played in 8 but lost 3

Which is more impressive?

But how many rings we lost is kinda debateable
2011: Yes we beat Pats
1992: ''Choked''
1990: Don't beat Bills without Joe
1983: Cheated but do we beat Raiders?

So really I'd say only 2011 & 1992 were legit

This.

There's a reason we are undefeated in the big game. If we make it next year, we definitely win it hands down.

Until this superbowl is over, we're not 100% sure we beat New England.

Yeah but I do not think we defeat either team without Jerry healthy. I loved our defense that year but thought without Jerry, the Packers & Broncos were superior.
