Not tht anyone cares, but Akers has two successful onside kicks (one recovered by Brian Jennings) and Andy Lee has a completed pass on a 4th down fake punt. Other than that, the announcers have hardly mentioned that SF has an NFL team.

Well in defense of that. They have talked quite a bit about brad seeley and the SF gang on ST.

i was baffled that they talked about Brad Seeley and Andy Lee, but didnt once mention the fake kick/TD pass. Its like theyve never watched a 49ers game ever. So annoying

Yea, but no mention of Willis & J. Smith. Also, I watched most of the NFL Nerwork's lead up to the game, and no respect for the Niners. They talked about the Pats, Giants, Ravens, Jets, Colts...

why do you guys give a s**t that people don't talk about our team enough. it made me sick that fran charles on nfl network mentioned that he had niner fans tweeting him so much that the network wasn't talking about the 49ers enough. god damn you bunch of whiners...

Because at this point the team deserved the respect. Especially over the s**tty colts and tim f**king tebow.

I just like pointing out the media's rampant bias against west coast teams. It was never more blatant than when they led with the Pats' 45-10 blowout of Denver over our game with the Saints that was one of the best, most exciting in playoff history.

there is an east coast bias and almost rightfully so, no western team won since denver and no west coast team won since we did, they wont take us seriously until we win it all and as a whole the west hasnt done it in a while

Yeah I was pretty shocked at that one myself. That game was a disaster and Denver was just playoff fodder. A waste of space. That 9er/Saints game had the most intense 5 minutes in football in a long time. Oh well, what can we do?
