A history of major choking on the big stage in both college and the pros. That usually doesn't get better. He fumbled the punt against AZ in college at the end of the game to lose too. Same thing in the NFC Championship. 2 punt fumbles, 1 reverse fumble, diving for balls for the catch on the punt that he doesn't need to. The bigger the moment and game the mess ups with this guy. I had high hopes for him at slot WR. But I don't care anymore. He is the type of guy who will blow up your team and your season. Find another slot WR. I never, ever want to see this guy on a 49ers uniform again. Not even in training camp or preseason. He's a choker. And those guys bury you. He did it once. Do you want him to do it again? Because I think he will. That's what chokers do. Let him choke for some other team. Put him on the Giants and let him do returns in the playoffs...

he's 23 years old in his second year. Young guys get over it. We have a young team. Odds are someone was going to screw up eventually. Plus he had that bad concussion a few weeks before the game, chances are he wasnt thinking correctly.

He did the same thing vs. Arizona in college when he was at Arizona St. He's a choker. I don't want him anymore. Say bye.

lol So if he could become a 800-1000 yard WR and give us 8 TDs and consistently tear it up down the field you would get rid of him over 1 bad game and a bad game in college? All you have to do is keep him off PR/KR. He's already proven he can catch passes, just not punts.

Dear lord you think KW is a 1,000 yard WR.....

what??? I never said he WAS. You just said you want him off the team and my point was that isn't it smarter to keep him around if he can make a significant impact in the future, rather than getting rid of him because of something that's over and done with and in the past? He might never be a 1k reciever or anything, but he's the fastest WR we got under contract and a good work ethic, only 23 and in his second year. OF COURSE he can get better. I just think everyone overreacts a lot on here. "No we got to get rid of this guy! and put in the back up QB! and we got to we got to get rid of Gore and get a new RB! let Goldson go he messed up 2 interceptions!"(not saying you said all those things, because you didn't). It's like a guy makes a mistake here or there, or has a bad game, or isn't completely perfect, and we have to get rid of them even though they were a significant contributor on a 14-4 team.

BTW KW already has made a great impactful play. On Alex's run in the NO game he had a great block on a defensive lineman and that helped Alex get the TD. He has speed, strength, great work ethic, tries really hard, give him another chance guys. I think he can be a good player!

Depends on who we draft and sign in free agency. If we don't sign or draft anyone we have to keep him with Crabtree, Morgan (resigned) and Williams. If we go 1st round pick and Morgan then we could still probably use him with Crabtree, 1st round pick, Morgan, Williams (4th). Only way I see him not staying is if we go free agent and 1st round pick while re-signing morgan which isn't likely. Free Agent, Crabtree, 1st round pick, morgan, (Ginn return specialist/emergency wr)

How I see it shaking out: Crabtree, 1st Round Pick, Morgan, Williams (Ginn Return Specialist/emergency WR) We don't use many 4 WR sets much less 5 so ginn pretty much is just a return specialist.

And by the way SD isn't it get rid? Also, misleading poll options.. nobody thinks he's the best right now but he might be useful as a WR as long as he doesn't ever return a ball again.

Just depends on what we do in the off-season. I'd wouldn't be opposed to having him comeback and if he earns a spot as Wr then so be it. I just wouldn't have him returning anything.

Everyone makes mistakes or has bad days his jus happened to be on that day its not anyones fault..cus our offense wasn't stormin the trenches so to speak..its a team game its easy to blame him cus his lead to the win but truth is if our offense would have stepped up we wouldn't of made it to o.t.maybe he would of still gave up 10 points but we would of still been up if we were producing..idk jus my opinion I like the guy everyone's been kinda harsh on him..with that said the fumble the blowed dead cus forward progress was BS.I know we won deep down we took that game it was ours so I have no respect for giants we played better IMO.

I was for keeping him until I learned he had this same problem in college. Imagine if he fumbles again in the playoffs. Just can't take the risk. It's not just limited to punt returning, because he had that awful mishandling of the reverse that the Giants should've recovered.

What's the point, he cost us a Super Bowl. After the fumbled pitch, diving catch on a punt, running to a live ball, and killing any chance in overtime, how many more chances?

Don't underestimate what he learned from the championship game either. Remember how embarrassed VD was when he was sent to the locker room? Look what happened to him. Experiences like this can do wonders for a player, long term.
