helluva game, only 2 letdowns imo against a team that can put up big play after big play

sure there were some big plays by the saints offense but as someone pointed out to me earlier those are bound to happen with the record breaking saints offense and some of those plays brees stood like a statue but the coverage was so well he had no where to go

those big plays only happened on missed tackles, the coverage was great! what an amazing moment for this team and all of us

also brees played an mvp game today i will be the first to say that, nearly all his throws were money
Secondary played light out imo, I was at the game and the wide outs were blanketed all game long! Only catches came from TE's backs

Brees had NO WHERE to go all game. The entire D played lights out. Near perfect game.
Maybe people will get off Tarell Brown's back now. He has played well all year.

he really has but our secondary was definately the weak point in our D

That might be one of the best secondary performances I've ever seen outta the Niners. Granted, I'm a pretty young fan but that was a potent offense and the Saints constantly tried to go deep but couldn't get anything going with consistency.

+1x2

Edit: I think it's also worth mentioning that several of today's sacks were coverage sacks. The secondary gets the game ball, in my opinion.

Agreed, I mean brees threw the ball over 60 times! Great game by the Defense.
I must eat crow regarding Tarrell Brown. He played well, and that was a great INT.
gotta give a huge thumbs up to the secondary, other than goldson taking a bad angle on the henderson i believe catch and run and whitner going for a pick he wasnt gonna get they all did well. i also gotta eat crow for doubting t brown, dude has been balling out
Brees played his heart out to beat them. He gave it everything he had and they beat him. I don't how many times I saw the defensive backs knockl away accurate passes. They all played a hell of a game.
