we need to generate lots of pressure with our front 4. With the saints passing the ball almost 75-80% of the time, will this be the game where we finally see Aldon play almost every snap?
Also depends on IF the Saints "pro bowl" guards get away with holding EVERY FRIGGEN Play, like they did against the lions, and everyone this year really!! Gotta get pressure up the middle to throw Brees off!!!! force him out of the pocket, Brees doesn't like that!!!!!!!!

I think so. I would not be shocked to see Aldon play 90% of the time, or more. We are going to play a lot of nickle, even some dime. They are not going to be able to contain Aldon and Brooks all night. I'm just worried about being penalized out of our game.

No way we allow a field goal.

We've been playing against those rules all year. That is what makes this defense so extraordinary.
I know. They were holding A LOT against the Saints, and that worries me too. But all year we have been good at collapsing the pocket. The Lions couldn't and that was a big difference.
Saints offense is darn good, but how many of them yards and points were thanks to terrible Lions defense. I never seen so many missed tackles & dropped interceptions ever. They need some linebackers and secondary help badly

If we tackle well and take advantage of turnover opportunities, we should be good next week. Their defense doesnt scare me, jsut their offense

What I found interesting watching the Lions game today was that in the first half the Saints couldn't get the big strike capability. I think they only really started to get that when they felt forced to do it.

I think it's safe to say that the "dome unstoppable-ness" is no longer real in NO even with the score that played out today. Man, gonna be such a different story in Candlestick against a real defense. Can't f**** wait!

You are absolutely right. Its speaks to our discipline on defense. I just think its a shame that in order to play good defense in the NFL you have to be extraordinary - the exception.

We are one of the better tackling teams. And I do think that Brees will throw our D a few. The Lions D dropped a ton of balls. Pass rush and play keepaway will be the key.
