I'm not bringin the Niners offense into the debate. I'm saying that posters here have been talking about the fact that the Niners did well against the Lions as an indicator of how they'll do against the Saints on defense. That's no weirder than saying that how the Saints did against Jacksonville or Houston is an indicator of how they'll do against the Niners on offense.

Considering that the Lions had the 29th-ranked rush offense in the league this year, I don't think it is.

Payton arrived in the Big Easy. However ...

Before arguing that the Saints can't win in the elements, consider that they're 12-4 outdoors the past three seasons and 22-13 since 2006. Their 62.3 winning percentage in the elements the last six seasons is only 4.4 points lower than their winning percentage at home (32-16) during the same period.

Furthermore, they've scored at least 30 points 19 times in 35 outdoor games (54.3 percent) since 2006, compared with 25 times in 61 games indoors.

Weather is not expected to be an issue Saturday. Projections are temperatures in the 60s with no precipitation.
if this is a lulzworthy "bat game" for the Saints, then i declare that Saturday is a "Spatula Game" for the 49ers. Because thats exactly what we are gonna need to scrape the Saints off of the grass afterwards

SPATULA GAME!!!!!!!

are we back to football?

Reminder, Saints 0-4 in playoff road games.

To me this proves when competition gets really good, the Saints fold on the road.

18 and 6 on the road the last three years with a win over the 9rs in that mix ..at your house..

... with Mike Dingleberry as our HC lulz.

Yeah, that epic trio of Singletary-Raye-Manusky gave them a run for their money.
