problem today was swain and hastings got no seperation
kyle williams wouldve helped a lot this game and both ginn and williams have the ability to beat singel coverage
i am verry happy with the offensive production today as VD and Crabs really stepped it up

Yeah it was disturbing not seein them in the game,it's like we were playing with one hand tied behind our backs.

Disappointed that Hastings didn't get any balls thrown his way. Would have liked to see what he can do after the catch. ...but on the other hand, Crabs looked great. Starting to look like the guy we thought we drafted.
VD looked like the play-maker we saw two years ago.
Dix looked strong on those short runs. He could and should have taken many of the short yardage carries from Gore to save the wear and tear. This has me really concerned because Gore looks ineffective and I don't think a one week bye is going to help much.

Was there any truth to the rumor about the 9ers contacting an outside receiver and saying they might be in touch after week 17 if they really need him?

Crabs is been playing his best pro football in the last half of the season while VD has been playing better the last couple of weeks. They are hitting their stride at the right time. Hope this continues in 2 weeks.

I'm really impressed with the degree to which Crabtree has turned it on in the clutch. I sure hope it carries over into next season. If there's a bright side to our wide receiver massacre, I suppose it has to be the fact that the coaches now seem to be working hard to put Davis front and center in the offense. It was fun to see Dixon again. He still dances a bit too much, but he's getting better. When he lowers his shoulders and hits the hole, he's pretty formidable. Just wish he'd do it a bit quicker!
I also thought the much maligned Mr. Brown had an exceptional game today.

Throw in Akers too. He's now the backup QB.

Crabtree is over 6ft... VD is over 6 ft.... Brett Swain is 6 ft....Joe Hastings is 6ft. I see the point you're trying to make but maybe you should re-phrase what you said by saying, 'we need a guy bigger than 6 ft 2 on our WR core'
