even the ravens game, we could've and probably should've won. The Ginn TD and i recall some other BS call that really hurt us.

Meh. We had much better than 6-win talent last year.

Coaches game plan screwed us that game, Gore was averaging 7.2 yard a carry but only got 10 carries. A Smith had 42 pass attempts not much balance.
Still very excited about 11-3 it's been a WAY to long playoff drought.
Go Niners!!

if we still get the #2 seed then it doesnt matter
also it just bumps zona back more spots in the draft anyways

Steve didnt really play there much though. 96-97 season Grbac played reg season OT loss(still pisses me off) and then Young left championship game early the same year. So I think only 98 reg season.

i dont like losing, but losing that game has made it so we've got to keep the pedal to the medal until the 16th game is over in order to match the saints, and i like that

And if GB takes care of KC they're 14-0. What's your point again?

That loss will prove to be the best thing that happened to us. I think we had to lose a game that we should've won to knock some sense into us and kick the coaching staff in the ass to change our offensive game planning a bit. That lose let us begin phase 2 of the season.

Yes, it did in that case; however, the turning of the proverbial light on for the 9rs with that loss, IMHO, is better than a #1 seed.

Cards loss was a good loss; if we didn't get that wake up call last week, we would most definitely would have lost to the Steelers on Monday, or worse... to an inferior team within the playoffs...
