other than CB we dont nened any personnel upgrade
i actuall ike crabtree and morgan starting enxt year both are smart foootball players very dependable hands and solid route runners
what we doo need however is a solid RZ target outside VD
i want a tall WR in this draft (or bowe/VJ would do) but like a 6 foot 3 or above player like seeter cridick (the gu from arizona) jeff fuller or dwight jones

Youth behind justin smith, the cowboy needs a understudy. Parys just needs to be replaced. Issac is avg at best could be an upgrade. Cb needs an upgrade, like the rookie and carlos, but someone in the slot would be nice. Wr Wr Wr, Someone with speed who can catch, Djackson will be a nice addition if he goes into free agency. Look for a rb with gores power and heart, will be very hard to replace a talent such as him. Also Improvement at RG, and youth at Center.

Your list seems fine to me. Watching AJ Green today I am left...unhappy with our WRs. He manhandles his DB and just goes over them for the ball. None of the 9ers WRs come within a country mile of this guy! Edwards gave me hope earlier this year but lately he has disappeared. Hope he can come back to full bore before the playoffs.

Someone with a quick release, quick feet, poise in the pocket, and someone that can throw to their third or fourth receiver.
A statue?

Good post.
Offense: QB - A. Smith (FA) -SHOULD be back on a new contract. It's not an AS thread, so no discussion. I am just assuming, at this point, he will be back. (No upgrade needed - yet) The Upgrade[s] are Kap and Tholzein[sp]. IMO - Alex will be resigned 2-3 year contract.
RB - F. Gore - Let's hope he remains injury free. (No upgrade needed - we have a solid K. Hunter on standby) Agree on Hunter BUT we can't overlook Gore has been injured for a few seasons and we need to start looking for an eventual replacement. I still haven't seen enough of Dixon to have an opinion if he will be be a ble to do the job but my gut tells me NO!
FB - B. Miller - Big surprise. I like him a lot for the next few years. (No upgrade needed) Completely sold on this guy - what a pick!
WR - B. Edwards (FA) -(Upgrade needed - and the answer might be on the roster with K. Williams) Disagree on KWilliams as an answer of Braylon. We need KWilliamns AND a BIG Tall WR, preferably who is fast. Much easier said than done - I know.
C - J. Goodwin -Good year, under contract - but drafting a potential future C might be a good idea. I think Kilgore is being groomed as his relacement.
G - A. Snyder -Fantastic utility player, but is he a starter? (Upgrade needed) We need a RG ASAP. Some in the Zone have suggested replacing Staley w/ABoone, moving Staley to RT and ADavis from RT to RG. I don't know if that will work but a new RG is a necessity. Snyder is dynamite as a bckup and we probably could use one more like him.
T - J. Staley - (No upgrade needed) Disagree about Staley - we could definitely do better. I'm a supporter of Staley but we still could do better. Who?
I think our D is wearing down a little. I think it would be a smart move to look for an eventual replacement for Justin. He should have 2-3 good years left. Ray Mac - great resign, Soap is solid, BUT we need a better rotation. Maybe RJF andother subs will be better with more playing time
OLB - P. Haralson - Likely will lose his job to A. Smith next year (Upgrade needed - but already on the team) OLB - Agree
A. Brooks (FA) - SHOULD be resigned. He is having a good year. However, we still could use a better pass rusher from the other side.
CB - C. Rogers, Culliver - KEEPERS! CB - T. Brown - Repalce w/Best FA or Draft
Draft/FA - BIG WR, CB, RG and S

I really do think we need an upgrade at WR, even with Kyle Williams. Crabtree, Williams, and Morgan is a nice trio. It's just really nice to have another guy that steps in when the others get hurt, or even push one of those 3 down the depth chart. I'm really not feeling Braylon Edwards or Ginn as WR's.
this people seem to forget that morgan is coming back next year and was looking like he was going to be our leading WR until... the incident.

Secondary. The 49ers need more secondary help at all positions. Guard, they need an actual starter at guard, period. They need either a good receiver to plah opposite Crabtree, someone with speed, who can stretch defenses and keep them honest.
