That and I'm not certain but I would be willing to bet Smith faces far more blitzes than Brady and Rodgers. Both those qb's have shown that they will slaughter you if you bring the heat. Smith has not but he's faced so many blitzes this season that he's bound to beat a high number of blitzes due to the sheer number of them he faces. Smith has been descent against the blitz which is still amazing because our line has NOT.
Is it true that when QB's get sacked, it doesn't affect their QB rating?

Cause the way I see it, Alex Smith gets sacked a lot when he can't beat the blitz, but he doesn't turn it over, hence the good QB rating vs the blitz.
