The Last Time the 49ers were in the playoffs the patriots won the super bowl, the USA went to war, george bush was president, i was in grade 3, ted williams died and had his head frozen, and terrell owens was in his prime, What else happened in 2002 it has been way to long since we were in the playoffs

Stopped reading right there. Buccaneers won the Super Bowl for the 2002 season (Jan-Feb 2003 playoffs). Bucs beat SF in the divisional round, in fact.
