If we get to 13-3 that's the best any other team can do (saints) besides the Packers. Every other team is 12-4 or worse. So if we get to 13 we would tie the Saints (if they win out) but would hold the tie breaker due to conference win% and we would also hold the 2nd tiebreaker which is like games in that they lost to TB and Rams (if we sweep them). They don't play Dallas or the Ravens. We both beat the Giants and Lions (if saints win out).

So basically stay one ahead or tied with Saints and we win it. Now if Dallas catches up we have to stay one ahead of them since they beat us. So we are essentially 1 1/2 ahead of saints (2 games for them to take over) and 1 1/2 ahead of Dallas (2 games gives them tie and lead)

I don't see NO or GB winning out. NO will loose at least two, and GB will drop at least one, maybe two.
The only guys I want to see rested are Chilo Rachal and Moran Norris.

What are you basing this off of? New Orleans looks like they can go undefeated all the way down the stretch, playing incredibly well right now.

New Orleans has Detroit, Tennessee, Minnesota, Atlanta and Carolina left on their schedule. Out of those teams, Atlanta is the only one I see mounting any sort of real challenge to them. Realistically, 49ers need to win out from here on as well if they want a bye.

no

if we win all our division games we get 1st round bye

if we beat the steelers (and all our other games) the last game becomes pointless so we should rest that game
No because we still have more of the play book to learn and still get ready for the playoffs. Ask Indy what happens when you shut it down early.SMH.

ATL and DET have a lot to play for as they both desperately need to win out to stay alive in the playoff hunt, especially since ATL is a divisional team only one game behind NO. Those are not going to be tough games for NO. Plus NO have spots of inconsistency due mostly to the league beginning to figure them out. The Panthers could be a trap for them. They are in prime position to play spoilers for NO. But I agree, we need to win out in order to maintain our bye chances. Staying ahead of Dallas and NO is our bottom line. We do that and we are fine.
