Aldon Smith Culliver Hunter All contributing this season, and its scary to think how high their potential can get. Remember everyone complaining we "reached" for Aldon? He was projected in the early teens anyways. He stole Whitner from Cinny mid-tweet. He locked down Rogers after 2-3 waves of FA signings. And he didn't blink when Goldson wanted big dough. Great job Baalke, and I guess this means credit has to be given to Jed York too for this Baalke/Harbaugh hiring. Its too early to know how sustained this magic will be, but for the first time in about a decade it seems like we have the legit workings of a winning organization from the top down.

I also we got really good future starters sitting on the bench, well at least I think so in Kilgore, haven't really seen too much of Person.

And no doubt Bruce Miller is an upgrade over Norris. I noticed when Norris is in, all he does is look for his first block, with Miller hes constantly working, blocking and moving to the next level. I also think Miller is much better receiver outta the back field.

Respect a man that can admit, He was just most likely being impatient wishing for the front office to make the big splash.While the whole time the little Whipple's of waves were developing into something bigger,but that was most of the zone , didn't see that big wave coming.

Thats why. Plus he brought back Alex. Also we stayed patient at the beginning of FA and didnt sign Nnamdi or Joseph.
Ive been on board since day 1.

Oh yeah and because most people were pissed about not getting Patrick Peterson in the draft, "reaching" for Aldon Smith, and not drafting players that everyone had heard about.

Its too bad we couldn't get Peterson. He is single handedly winning games for the Cardinals.

I think our draft was OK though. In 2-3 years Aldon will begin to make an impact for us.

To say I was skeptical to start the year would be an understatement - once they hired Harbaugh I thought there was a glimmer - but I thought Baalke was just another Yes man York guy that helped make the 49ers so bad for the last 10 years - I will gladly eat my crow - the adjustments he made to the team have proven to be epic.

Biggest Upgrade is Harbaugh - holy crap the guy took a team that gave up had NO hope on offense and turned them into a 5-1 (number 2 rated team in the NFC).

It's interesting Harbaugh went out of his way to coach in lower leagues in different jobs to really learn what to do and found success - Compare that to Mike Singletary who scoffed at jobs like Baylor or coordinator jobs and decided he was just going to be the Head coach because he had alot of notebooks and basically had faith - what a difference someone with some humility makes.

You mean Peterson single handedly won the ONE game that the Tards won.

4th in entire NFL in sacks with 5 1/2 sacks, a safety and a forced fumble. Not bad for a rookie only 6 games in.
