You can take CJ out with double coverage and we'll burn you with Pettigrew, take out Pett and CJ, then Young is gonna light you up. If you devote your defense to stop the pass, then we will run, until you cover that and then we'll take Burleson back across the middle.
Suh is gonna eat up double teams as he has all year long. I'm surprised when I actually see him get singled up on an olineman, just doesn't happen like it did last year. The OC's learned their lessons last year. Good thing is that Fairley should play more of a role this week in that 9 man dline rotation. It gets tougher in the 4th qtr when your oline is tired. The key to stopping our overly aggressive oline, screen passes and draws, we are suspect on these two plays, especially if your TE's clear out the LB's.
Good news is that we have some weapons and you'll have to pick your poison, but for me it's Stafford, stop him and our ability to score becomes limited.
Stopping Stafford is very doable more so than stopping CJ. I've watched the game against the Bears. Stafford has one hell of an arm. And tough. We have a very good front 7. Can get very good pressure on the qb. You guys put Stafford in a lot of shotgun formation, which may cater to his comfort zone but it gives him less protection. You are basically saying your receivers will get open and your qb will get rid of the ball before our defense can get there to hurt him. But like most young qb, Stafford still is slow in his decision making. Sometimes he knows exactly where to go with the ball and threw it quickly, sometimes he's unsure and this is where he gets in trouble. I've seen this before in Alex Smith in his first 2-3 years. If we can cover your receivers just long enough for Stafford to have to look for a second option, we might have a good chance of getting to him in his indecision.

Exactly...Suh hasn't hurt any QB's this year and I'm not sure he hurt any QB's last year either.
