Anyone notice this change? Behind Vernon Davis, Bruce Miller, our new fullback, was our 2nd leading receiver. I am glad the coaching staff is making positive changes like this. I think the offense is starting to find its identity. Hopefully we see more HKUNT and less GORE.... maybe even a little DIX.

They were forced to make the change because Norris is injured.

He had a stupid fumble. FBs shouldn't handle the ball, especially FBs that are converted LB/DEs, we have WRs, TEs and HBs for that. Norris will be back.

I am thinking this offense could become solid the second half of the season--IF--we have Braylon Edwards, Crabtree, Ginn, Kyle Williams playing--Miller as FB, Hunter, Dixon getting reps also--Gore should get only half of them max. The O line has to get better --Smith seems adequate so far--not great--but not bad. Involving VD and Walker---more creative play calling.

His name is Brit Miller. The announcers didn't know this. They also kept saying Alex Smith wasn't mobile. It was a head scratcher... also goes to show how bad of a coach Mora is.

Well at least they shut down Dalton and so each member of the backfield did their job well enough to not get multiple field goals, more than 2. So something worked and I hope they are able to improve on that for this next game.

Pitts and Mora are at the bottom of the priority list for Fox. They are not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Brit Miller plays for the Rams and he was an undrafted free agent the 49ers picked up in 2009. He played linebacker with an attempt to convert to fullback after college.

Bruce Miller was our 7th round draft pick last year, also a linebacker who is currently converted to fullback.

Confusing, I know.

Britt Miller was cut last year and never resigned. Bruce Miller is one of the draft picks. The "fans" don't know this? The commentators said he isn't a runner, they didn't say he isn't mobile.

He looked much more athletic than Norris...especially in the passing game.

I dont think we should be handing him the ball but he looks like he could be good.
