Really enjoyed reading through. You seem to be pretty fair in your assessments. I'd ask you to go back and watch the interception though. Just watch VD the ENTIRE time... watch him until the camera pans off from him.
Tell me what you see...

great job
btw do you think the cuncussion is teh reason why alex threw the pick if im not mistaken one of the symptoms is slow reflexes and confusion if it was to VD and was behind him it could be due to the concussion
just wondering

Looked like Alex thought VD had inside leverage, so he thought VD would break inside. VD broke outside instead, and Alex let it go before VD's break (trying to throw him open, like everyone wants him to). Just need more familiarity with each other's tendencies within the new offense.

So you know whether or not that was an option route, and whether it was VD or Alex that read it wrong. Pretty impressive clairvoyance there. All of the Webzone psychics could get together and put together the next Ms. Cleo Empire!

Nice read...but any chance you have a video of this part? It made me laugh. Haha.
11-Reg-02 DAL@SF 3 14:12 SF 3 8 SF 22 (14:12) (Shotgun) 11-A.Smith sacked at SF 16 for -6 yards (97-J.Hatcher).
11 Personnel. You might not believe me, but I swear at one point on this play, Mike Iupati is blocking Joe Staley. I'm dead serious. Ok, so Alex spends next to forever making adjustments at the line to account for everyone, and does. Staley passes his man off to Walker, who bumps and releases into the flat... at the same time, Staley's helping Iupati on a double team, which gets split, leaving those two blocking each other for a moment I think without realizing it... THAT guy gets to Alex first, preventing him from letting go of the ball for Walker in the flat. Really ugly sequence in general.

Hahaha I actually did go back and watch that play just to see it. And they did for a split second.

Your threads are very much appreciated! Very very knowledgeable and honest. The one thing that concerns me reading through this is how you said a couple times that Alex nicely stood in the pocket and took a hit. With his shoulder history, and now a concussion, can he stay healthy taking those hits?

Adembroski:
What conclusions did you draw from your study? Are the Niners beginning to develop a passing game or are we just seeing smoke and mirrors? Is there hope if the oline pulls together, and as Smith and the receivers develop some chemistry in the new offense?
