I love what Alex has shown which is why I'm even more pissed off at Harbaugh. Especially after giving up a 15 yard penalty. Disappointed is an understatement. We lost a game that could have put the players' and teams' overall confidence and belief in themselves high.

Confidence does wonders in sports.

if they knew he's done 4 the year or if it were a 3 month injury, he'd be IR'ed already to open up a roster spot, this knee surgery is more like reggie smith's than a season ender IMO

The 49ers already have their replacement target. His name is Vernon Davis. It would be nice if we used him every now and then.

I still think Delanie is a more move the chains TE than Vernon. Our problem is that we aren't using Vernon for what he's good at and that's big plays.

You start playing more two tight end sets with Vernon and Delanie out there at the same time, and that's just as good as any combination of WR's we can put on the field right now.
