It all depends on how fast the blitz is getting there. If the defense is excuting the blitzes well, then you want to get into shotgun more, espsecially vs blitzes from the slot.

Well in the first Packers drive every snap that Rodgers took was from shot gun. So it was not a reaction to the blitz, but part of the game plan. I know NO blitzes a lot, but whenever I watch the Packers Rodgers seems to be more in the shot gun. Also they are often in 3 WR sets.

It was probably all agmeplan, they prob expected a high amoutn of blitzing and they got it.
