Cool to know that we have three smart rookie quarterbacks.

One of them will pan out.
Nice to watch the game last night and be further reminded of the mistakes of past drafts, oh yeah, I get to watch that mistake against Seattle this weekend, cant we sign Garrard already or just not play smith? sigh another season of inept QB ahead

Harbaugh has who he wanted, get over it. Like it or not whining about the past is pointless.
Steve Young is a smart guy...and he played some pretty good football.

It took him a while also.

It seems there is a correlation between wonderlic scores and NFL QB Performance:

the QBs who scored below the median Wonderlic score (for QBs) of 27 averaged 5,202 passing yards and 31.2 TDs over their first four years, whereas those scoring above the median averaged 6,570 yards and 40.8 TDs over the same period.

Can anyone do a regression analysis of this and chart the chart line. Just eyeballing it, for those that played it looks like a trend line would be about a 45 degree angled line

I would agree with that eyeball assessment.
Since brains are about 33% of what it takes to be a good qb, you still have to have the other 66%. Not every qb gets every trait. Ppl who are good in music are generally good in math but lack social skills hence, geeks. It is very rare when a person is completely well rounded. The same is true with qbs. Johnny Unitas and Dan Faust were great qbs but they were not fast. There are just too many variables to say that a high wonderlic score is an indication of a qb.
