Everyone has their own opinion. Sometimes I disagree with Kaplan, but I really don't blame him for being negative about the state of the team. I like his articles though. He usually responds to the comments too if you leave an intelligent question for him.

This is an example article that he did.
For those who don't know him. He writes articles about the 49ers. I thought more people knew him. Guess he's not as well known as I thought.

Please keep in mind that Jeff is a member here, so the rules apply to anything you have to say about him.
In other words, constructive criticism over nasty remarks.

If he's still a pessimist after the Tolzien signing, then he's just being irrational.

You could argue it the other way too.

being pessimistic is the easy way out. Not talking about Kaplan's stuff in particular, more of negative articles in general.
I could see a cynic viewpoint every once in awhile, but constant cynicism requires very little original thought and after awhile becomes like being stuck in a rut. Even if the team wins, said person still only sees the negative, and is quick to dismiss any positives. This attitude runs rampant on this board.
Not a good place, imo.

agree I'm not trying to attack just saying that he seems a lil on the negative side then the positive. As to the Tolzien signing. Thats the thing I haven't seen any articles recently from him. It seems in a "blinders on" short view of his articles that he only writes when the news is juicy or negative that is.
What do you think Janitor your a mod and probably read more of his articles then I have. Do you see him in a different light then I do?
